“A Scam-Like Experience – Shame on Kinguin and Foxngame
This was one of the worst digital shopping experiences I’ve ever had. I bought what was clearly labeled as a 12-month Xbox Game Pass Core subscription on Kinguin, expecting the normal activation key to use with my Xbox account. Instead, the seller Foxngame sent me credentials to a fake Microsoft account created under the name “Kurnaz Tilki” with a made-up birthdate. The Game Pass was activated on that fake account — meaning I couldn’t use it with my actual Xbox profile that I’ve had for 17 years.
This entire product is misleading and restrictive by design. No normal customer would reasonably expect that buying a subscription means being locked into using a fabricated identity and someone else’s account. That alone should disqualify this kind of product from being sold at all.
To make it worse, Kinguin makes the deception even easier with a “Show key” button in the inventory — suggesting you’ll receive a redeemable code. That’s not what you get. You’re redirected to a third-party site and handed fake login credentials.
When I contacted both Kinguin and Foxngame to explain how unusable and unethical this product is, they both refused to refund me. Their excuse? “The product was delivered.” Apparently, delivering a fake account that violates basic platform rules is good enough for them.
Kinguin enables shady sellers like Foxngame to mislead customers and takes no accountability when it goes wrong. This product should never be allowed to be listed, and both Kinguin and this seller are complicit in pushing digital goods that are deceptive, restrictive, and borderline fraudulent.
Avoid this platform at all costs.”
“First of all, beware there is a $16 service charge on top of the key price. When the key they provided to me did not work, I tried to work with their support. At the end, they said the key will not work for me. They closed the case on me and refused to refund me. I would recommend people to stay away.”
“Una compra que hice me dieron email y contraseña y no funcionó y no me solucionaron el problema no la recomiendo y nunca volveré a comprar nada en este sitio he perdido el dinero y no me lo devuelven y PayPal no quiere saber nada no estás cubierto”
“My order got canceled, then Kinquin told me that i can purchase the key again from the same seller, but at 4 times the price! Kinguin told me the provider was out of stock. Thats a lie. The key has been for sale the whole time, and still are. But they change the price.
I have used Kinguin a lot. This was the last time. Poor service!”
“I just bought a Windows 11 key and Office 2021 from HYPEST KEY, and both were delivered instantly and work perfectly. They accept PayPal / Stripe, really good website”
“This company is an absolute scam! I purchased a Steam key from them, only to find out it was already redeemed. When I reported the issue, they demanded sensitive information from my Steam account, including screenshots that could compromise my account's security. This is completely unacceptable and feels like an attempt to dodge responsibility rather than resolve the problem.
Why should I risk my account being hacked because they sold me a faulty product? They refused to refund my money or provide a replacement key unless I met their invasive demands. This is outright theft and disrespectful to their customers.
Save yourself the frustration and avoid this company at all costs. Their business practices are shady, and they do not care about their customers.”
“The site is great, everyone selling it'a scam site is the actually scammers that they redeem keys and then they try to get their money back saying the key didn't work”
“All four Corel product keys they sold me were verified by Corel as pirated. The software authorized OK, but Corel wouldn't recognize it as a legitimate installation. When I tried Kinguin's link to report the bad keys it repeatedly told me the service was unavailable and to try again later. An invalid key had to be reported within 48 hours of downloading and I was unable to do so. I contacted via an email link including my Corel correspondence. For over a week Kinguin kept giving me a runaround asking for information I'd already provided.
I would strongly recommend avoiding this company.”
“Site is for selling stolen goods and buying using stolen cards.
Email was hacked and the hacker used it to sign up to kinguin.net and go on a shopping spree, wanna guess why they used this site. Well apparently according to customer service this site is not responsible for anything on this site. if you are a scammer or thief then this site is a haven for you with no consequences. Naturally that means I was not refunded.”
“It’s not a really a bad site it can happen but not really legit. This is the problem your guys having it’s not really legit a you can loose you money and wait in days to get it back why not give refund same time telling you waiting on merchant. The site is messed up. Now I can’t purchase off the the site for some reasons I don’t know about fuckery”
“They messed up my currency and that made the item more expensive than if i bought it from the original store. Customer service didn't do anything to help me. Will not return”
