“I ordered a custom bow tie and the color was spot on. I did have to reach out to customer service and they were amazing! Very quick response and very helpful. I would 100% recommend this company and I will order from them again.”

“I’m beyond pleased with the ties I purchased. I was on the hunt for space themed ties and ordered a couple from a different company because I didn’t know about Knotty Tie Co. initially. The quality of the ties and the print from the first company was subpar at best, so I did some more research online and stumbled across Knotty Tie Co. I ordered 2 space themed ties and am very pleased with them. The ties are high quality material and the color and images on the designs exceeded my expectations. Well done, folks—I’ll be ordering more ties from Knotty Tie Co.!”

“We loved using Knotty Tie for our wedding. It brought the guys together in a fun way, while having individual color backgrounds with the same design. We even got to pay ode to our Officiant who is into bow ties! Loved our experience. So worth it!”

“The company is very responsive to emails however the product took 3 weeks to arrive and it was poor quality without being able to return it. I will not order from here again. Not happy!!”

We do offer a standard 15 day production time on predesigned ties, but have expedites available if the order is needed faster. “I searched so many stores so many times looking for a perfect match to the azazzie swatch that my bridesmaids are wearing. I was able to find a tie but no bow tie or vice versa. Im so glad I found knotty tie co because not only was the price perfect, but the option to color match exactly to the swatch I had was an option and I’m so thankful for this company. The work was also completed in such a timely manner! Only good things to say!”

“I love my two knotty ties. The company mission is fantastic, and I enjoy the customizations (almost too many options though)! I am excited to try more of their products apart from ties in the future and have begun recommending them as the only tie option for the ethical consumer.”

“Excellent quality for the tie I custom made. The colors were just as described, and they made it very quickly as well. I'm taller, so it's great they have the XL length option. Definitely will be buying and customizing more ties from Knotty!”

“The boys and I had the option to get any bow tie for our friend’s wedding- as long as it was on scheme. We stumbled across Knotty Tie and are so happy with the final results. We picked different patterns and chose the same color pallet to match. I loved the option to mock up a design online and forward it to our group for review. Our custom products arrived on time as expected, were of high quality, and the customer service exceeded expectations. I recommend getting the ColorMatch Chart for accurate results. As expected some of the colors appeared different/brighter on screen- but were more subdued when printed to fabric. Overall… A+ experience. And I have a cool new tie to wear!”

“As far as getting my tie shipment sped up, the service was awesome. But, the fact that I can’t return the ties is not sitting well with me. I ordered colors to try with my suits for my wedding to see which one I like more and now I am stuck with them. My fault for not checking but I’ll be ordering from another company in the future.”

This is because we strive to limit manufacturing waste in the interest of sustainability and therefore we print, cut, and sew each order to each customer's specifications, which is a unique business model. We offer thousands of pattern options for our ties, and these patterns can either be customized by color, size, or both. Because of our robust and customizable catalog, we do hope you can understand that we are unable to offer a standard return policy similar to other retailers that keep inventory of non-customized products in stock. “Knotty Tie Co is INCREDIBLE!!! After things fell through elsewhere... I needed to obtain x10 custom ties and x10 custom pocket squares in less than two weeks! The people at Knotty Tie DELIVERED! A day early too! I I am very thankful for their customer service and attentiveness to my emails. I recommend 100/100 and will definitely use again. The product itself was even better than my normal ties. Thank you”

“The tie itself was reasonably priced, however, the price to expedite (15 days not exactly my definition of expedite) was not. It was basically the same cost to expedite as it was for the cost of the tie. I would have gladly paid the price for 1-2 day expediting but 15 days is normal shipping in most vendors' worlds.”

Hi Kevin, Thanks for your feedback. We are a made-to-order tie business in Denver, Colorado and print, cut and sew all items to order as part of our social mission. This sustainable manufacturing process does mean that our production timelines may be longer than other retailers. While we do not offer ready to ship products, we do our best to provide a quick standard 15 day production time and expedites (for an additional fee). Our expedite costs include a fee for rush production plus UPS Air shipping to guarantee on-time delivery. The shipping costs actually made up the majority of the $24 expedite you paid for.
