“In spite of ordering over $100 of Easter eggs more than 3 weeks before Easter …. And inspite of multiple notifications of impending delivery … our order was canceled and refunded 2 days prior to Easter. We originally chose to purchase from Koko Black due to their reputation for excellent chocolate and the availability of lactose free products. This Easter is the first time we’ve been together with family in over 14 months. Now there are no special treats to gift. What is an Easter without eggs? So very disappointed.”

In the end the delivery driver couldn't find our building, not our apartment, but the building! Eventually located him but was upset to see we had The Giant Bunny, Koala and a Penguin. Phone Koko who confirmed it was now out of stock.

“I am very disappointed with Koko Black’s service. I sent the following complaint over a week ago and no one got back to me. I am still also short of $15 as my complaint has just been ignored. Very poor customer service, won’t be shopping with them again.

My name is Ashleigh Gunner and I made an online order last Tuesday 29th March for it to be collected from the Karrinyup store in Western Australia for today, Tuesday 5th April between 9am-11am.
I had collected the order today and had received a sealed up bag, when I got home I opened the bag and noticed that my order was incorrect. My order ID number is: 800000305 and one of the items I had ordered was the 180g Cookies in Creamy white egg, valued at $24.90. Unfortunately I had received a 80g block of the cookies in creamy white valued at $9.90, meaning I am short of $15, I am extremely disappointed and wish I had checked the items in the bag before making it all the way home. Please refer to image attached.
I had also noticed that one of the eggs in the milk chocolate bag I had ordered was open, please refer to image attached. I am usually not one to complain, but after spending a total of $112.80 and getting home and realising that I am now short of $15 and that one the bags of eggs I was planning on gifting my mum for Easter doesn’t look the greatest. Considering this is my first ever kokoblack order I was extremely underwhelmed.

“Unfortunately a couple of items were broken in my box sets. & unfortunately i was left feeling EXTREMELY vulnerable getting my order delivered at 9:30 at night & being left on my lawn by my gate instead of near my front door. The whole experience has left me feeling disappointed & now anxious about late night deliveries. I no longer feel safe buying online unfortunately.I now also unfortunately are left with having to get other easter presents for my children at very short notice. The whole experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth. Your company presents so well & I was super excited about getting my package, now I wish I never ordered it.”

“I placed a large Easter order from the Easter section of the website. I was going to get eggs but the chocolate gift boxes were so pretty with the easter boxes that I ordered 4 of those, as were the little eggs cubes with native animals. I received plain green and white chocolate boxes and rabbit egg cubes. When I wrote back saying this was not what I ordered I was told: that you had more rabbit cubes than others so chose to send me those and that the easter boxes were only if I personalised them. I replied and said I had had personalised boxes before and that was with a personal message, the reply I then got was that was that, yes, that was what personalised meant, and I should just rebuy the products if I did not want the plain boxes or maybe easter covers could be organised but they cost more and I could not pay virtually for these. I am so disappointed with what I received and the service, especially from such a lovely brand”
“The package was thrown in front of the main door. A few people were home who would have been notified if the delivery person had simply rung the doorbell. They discovered the package later - all the ice inside was melted away. The chocolates barely survived.”

He said he would now go to the post office and pick it up. Haven't heard whether he actually received it or if it was not available any more. Very strange and expensive purchase and delivery since he may not even have received it. Can't say I'd order again that's for sure.”
