Had a job to register a heated throw from La Redoute, on the silentnight website. La redoute were on the job immediately, phoned me twice and sent me 2 emails. Also which is unusual these days i was able to speak to a advisor. WELL DONE GUYS

The customer service at La Redoubt appears to be non existent. Email’s are ignored, phone lines never available and as a last resort have got Resolve involved. So far this has been ignored too. Their choice of delivery service, Evri nee Hermes matches them for atrocious service. Still waiting a delivery after ten days. Avoid both these awful companies

AVOID. Took over 5 weeks to get a delivery to me. That should have took 3 days. Kept saying warehouse delays. When it eventually got sent out - there were items missing and the awful ‘Hermes’ evri didn’t deliver 2nd part of parcel. They agreed to a refund after 4.5 weeks of unanswered emails by customer service and phonecalls. Then issued the wrong refund. Only when I escalated it to Resolver and Retail ADR did they come back and try to resolve it. They have confirmed a refund has been issued but will not give the ARN number which proves the refund so I can check with my bank? Still not received in back account. Honestly awful awful company.

What a farce of a company. Bought a desk that arrived damaged so called customer services to arrange a replacement. I was told they would arrange a courier collection (the dreaded Evri!) and that I would be refunded when it was received back. In the meantime time I had to pay for a second desk in order to get a replacement. Didn't seem right but, stupidly, I did it anyway. Well, surprise, surprise the second desk also arrived damaged! That's two broken desks and two payments! Frustratingly Evri kept failing to collect the damaged desks using various untrue reasons, eg unable to access property, collection cancelled etc (we were always home waiting for them and certainly didn't cancel anything!) I STILL have a blinking huge package containing an utterly useless desk in my house. It's in my way and, until it is picked up I can't have a refund. Despite numerous calls la redoute refuse to use a different, reliable,courier service or offer any refund because they don't yet have the desk back. If I could drop it off on the blinking doorstep - I would!! Instead I have to continually wait on for arranged collections that simply never happen. Utterly appalling customer service by agents that get significantly aggressive in their response when you disagree with them. I will avoid this company like the plague in the future and urge anyone else to do the same.

Het hout van het product wat ik heb besteld kwam beschadigd aan met lelijke vlekken. Erg jammer want mijn bestelling was 200 euro. Ik heb contact opgenomen met de klantenservice, en na 5 dagen was de reactie dat ik de volgende keer 10 euro korting op een bestelling van tenminste 50 euro kon krijgen. Hierop heb ik gereageerd dat ik het daar niet mee eens ben en heb daar verder geen reactie op ontvangen (7 dagen later). Ik kende La Redoute hiervoor niet, en zal hier verder ook nooit iets van kopen. Als je mij om advies vraagt… kijk verder naar een andere shop waar ze wel degelijke producten aanbieden en een normale klantenservice bieden waar ze moeite in steken om een gepaste oplossing te vinden voor hun klanten en (tijdig) reageren.

Don’t buy Fromm them, they gone downhill in the last few years. Ordered clothes and returned them over 2 week ago. They don’t pick the phone or respond to emails. Lucky I ordered by credit card and the raise a dispute. Hope some one in the company read this. Awful service.

I received the wrong order after waiting for it for 2 weeks. All my attempts to get in touch with the company have failed. Impossible to get through via phone. You are met with the following message; I’m sorry all our lines are busy today! And then they hang up. Just like that - apparently all the phones are busy ALL the day. I get no response to my email either! I can’t believe how a company like this can exist!

We were so wary about ordering after reading some poor reviews - however, we really didn't need to worry. Tracking progress before dispatch wasn't great. But when order was ready, we were kept well informed and delivery process was smooth. Packaging of items (bedside tables) was brilliant - very secure and well padded, particularly considering outside box was very battered. Items themselves are lovely - we have shopped around for 6 months looking for what we want. They are well made, great price, and good quality. Drawers not very smooth to open and close, but overall, so impressed.

I am very happy with all my purchases from this company. I love the nyong curtains and have a few pairs. Like how you can see from the inside out but not from the outside in. Not sure how that works but it does. Also a lovely round jute rug now ordered in a larger size. Sorry do not know how to add pictures

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Ordered a £400 coffee table that arrived defected and scratched. Still waiting for a new one 4 months later. Worst communication I have experienced - lack of care and service to their customer.

So damned annoying using their website. I've twice tried to register as a new customer with them, using two different email addresses. I had a healthy order and registered as a customer using saved Google passwords...twice I couldn't log in. I've given up and will shop elsewhere.

Awful company, I would stay well away unless you want to buy 1 or 2 cheap items. Customer service is awful, the worst I have ever experienced. Avoid at all costs!

Ordered a product it came fast - in the WRONG colour trying to get help from customer service was a nightmare! Then they accused ME of ordering the wrong colour. All in all 8 weeks to sort due to their incompetence. I contacted Citizens Advice Buteau, who contacted trading standards in the end. Whatever their website says they will do - they WONT !!! My advice is AVOID - far too stressful a purchase!

Fast delivery free on click and collect. Fast delivery. I bought Elina bed linen sets and worth mentioning the colours are lighter than pics on website, grey green and Rose Veneto. I'm keeping though as pleased with the quality and 40% reduction in sale. Recommended

I ordered a 300euro sideboard table and a $15 laundry basket. I received the sideboard and not the basket. I emailed them about not receiving the basket and they are sending me back and forth emails to prove that the basket was delivered even though it never reached me. Why would I lie for a cheap basket? Should I have not emailed them to let them know I didn't receive it? Very frustrating customer service experience and never shopping for them again.

A scam. They were unable to deliver what I ordered over 6 weeks ago. I have reached out to their customer support 5 times. Each time they either did not respond or responded with no info, e.g. "we will check". They didn't check. I contacted the courier who apparently returned the package to them because of missing information. They owe me over 100 euro. I will of course never order from them again but in the meantime am exploring enforcing my legal rights. AVOID at all costs, this company is not genuine.

Ordered a black leather handbag, received a canvas rucksack, they may as well have sent a plastic carrier bag for all the care and attention paid to the order! Gave up on la redoute years ago after bad service but gave them another chance, this was their last. I 100% recommend using a different company and not purchasing from la redoute.
