DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Very disappointing service and experience from start to finish. The order arrived incomplete with a 2 weeks delay. The customer service was non-existent throughout this process. Was forced to chase myself for any updates and progress, while having to waste time on making numerous phone calls to eventually speak to a bunch of unprofessional liars, non of whom followed up on their word and assurances. In fact still waiting for an official apology and compensation for the inconvenience!

Really pleased with the service, we were kept well informed and our coffee table arrived yesterday! Easy to build and it looks great in our living room! 😊

Brought saucepan set said in stock then received an email saying waiting for stock from their supplier. Still awaiting delivery over 2 weeks later.

This French company does not deserve to do any business in the US because of their terrible customer service. Here, most of the retailers are willing to satisfy customers to receive their continued business. When a problem occurs, US companies do refund or replace defective items for their customers no charge ie: Costco, Bed Bath and Beyond, etc. Dealing with La Redoute USA is a truly different and terrible experience ….. I placed two orders within a few days totaling over $350 …. received my items two weeks later and found that a pair of "made in France" shoes did not fit my 37 French size. Having been born in France and lived there for several decades I know my French foot size and have purchased many pairs of shoes over the years! The espadrilles I received are not a real 37 French size. They are a 36 size short and narrow. When I ordered, I read their policy and know they do not accept exchanges from the USA (Question is: why do they try to do business here?) Customers are supposed to send back items in France or UK and pay for the shipping. I would accept their policy if I did order a wrong size or color, but I did not. Those espadrilles do not fit a 37 french size foot! Exchanges by email with a certain Melissa, supposedly being a customer service representative, were terrible. No help was given at all and she was certainly rude. She did not seem to care that I ordered over $350 of items within a week as a new customer! She prefers loosing my business forever over a pair of shoes that cost $29 …. This arrogant person asked me to take photos of my feet + shoes next to + a stick showing the size!!!! I do not know of any US company that would make this ridiculous request thereby loosing customers …. La Redoute does!!! I would add that except for the summer fabric shoes made is France: the tablecloth + napkins, bra, panty, shirt and sweater were all made in China (designed in France!). Far from being top quality …. after a few washings, they will fade and shrink. Be aware of this company that does not care about its' customers at all!

I ordered a pair of flat ballerina type shoes, and whdn they finally arrived they were both for the right foot! They were in the sale, but that's no excuse. Sadly, there were no more in stock.

I ordered 4 curtain panels but only received 3. They did not answer my email. We finally phoned them and they said they would refund the price of the missing curtain - they never did. I have read many complaints from people who had similar issues. I think they run a scam... short ship an order. People return what they did receive expecting a refund and they never get it. Don't buy from La Redoute.

I ordered clothes for my husband 17th march . I have rang la Redoute twice and both times was told they would follow it up and email same day . Of course this has not happened and no apology offer to resend or refund. Would never order again.

Terrible. Ordered clothes to be told the delivery would take up to two weeks ( this should be clear when ordering) Made another order and paid to be told that this item was out of stock and a refund will be made. Would not bother again.

I have no complaints with your company but courier service DPD which you use No pre warning of parcel delivery.My husband and I home all day but told no one home.Then charged for re delivery.This has happened twice.Impossible to complain. I will not order from your company again as a result

You can simply buy as many (or as few) panels as you need, dependent upon the width of the window you are covering." I ordered 7 panels in the same White Ecru color. I received in 3 different fabric weight/color variations that did not "mix and match." Customer service is awful, won't allow me to exchange for a matching set. They say I must pay return shipping costs $26USD if I want to return them because there's nothing wrong with items. "The fact that you bought different items from the same collection does not mean that all the items of the collection are the same colour or fabric." WHAT??? Similar to others I have placed an oder in January, it was never received. Customer service discussions (several of them) not helpful. I am now awaiting refund for more than 4 weeks. Wish there was an option for "negative" stars. Anyone reading this is cautioned to not buy from this online retailer.

I ordered an ottoman at nearly £200 back in January. It arrived damaged, so we arranged to send it back. La Redoute delayed the return as long as possible, blaming the supplier - even though the contract was between me, the consumer, and them, the retailer, and it is therefore their responsibility to work effectively with the supplier. Eventually it was picked up on 21st Feb at 7.30AM on Sunday morning - a ridiculous time that even the driver complained about. It is now March and there is still no sign of my refund. I've requested details of the formal complaints process, but they have disregarded me twice. This is my consumer right, and I will be going to the relevant authorities if I do not get the information the third time.

Ordered literally 1.5 months ago, and my items were automatically cancelled one week later due to lack of stock (they stopped producing the items). It's been over 40 days, and despite numerous calls, emails, and messages, I still have not received my refund. Every time I call customer service, it says the refund will arrive "within a week" - the first time that was said was over 30 days ago, and the order never even sent. Every email I send and every call I make now still just says "please just wait longer." Save yourself the time, hassle, and stress - do not order from here.

I ordered a headboard on their website and 2 month after they sent me a part (!) of the headboard which I ordered. I was calling them every week during the next 2 month - they referred to problems with the delivery company, covid, promised to give updates but never gave any! In the end they said that they can't send me the missed parts of the headboard due to the fact that it was missed by the delivery company. I asked money back and a compensation for such service. They made a refund and gave me a promocode which doesn't work. Customer service do not reply anymore.

Bought an item, delivery time time was 10 days. after 7 days received email saying my order has been canceled, this was a birthday present and had to come just on time. Obviously im not getting that for my wife, and im well fuming. This is not acceptable, wouldnt even give them 1 star rating, waiste of time and very disapointing, would never ever buy of them again

Ordered a rug nearly 4 months ago. Told there would be a slight delay on quoted delivery date. Phoned 3 times to ask, when? Finally had a response today. It isn’t coming. This company doesn’t even rate one star for me

Wrong item sent to me. After 3 weeks I am extremely disappointed, frustrated and upset having received no communication as to when I am going to receive the actual item I ordered and paid for - and no indication as to why it is taking so long. This is the worst service I have EVER received from any company - leaving a customer in the dark when you have my money and I have an item I didn’t even order in my possession? It doesn’t make any sense as to why La Redoute would want to drag this out for so long? Is it to do with the Dover port issues? Is it a stock issue? Is it a delivery issue? What is actually taking so long!?! It doesn’t make sense! Completely left in the dark. Numerous unhappy emails later, all I am receiving is "I am sorry for this, you will hear any updates as soon as possible". Is 3 weeks as soon as possible? I am completely and utterly fed up with waiting and hearing nothing and receiving blanket emails from your customer service team that do not resolve anything and still not having the correct item. Will not be ordering again. I hope they resolve this before a whole MONTH has gone by.
