I have just received an order of children’s summer clothing. It is the first time I have used a La Redoute. The items are lovely. Excellent quality materials, and I particularly love the styles and designs. Very child friendly. The items are all really comfortable and it looks to be durable too. My only criticism is that the sizing appears to be quite small. My daughter is a petite age 6 and I’m not sure we’re going to get a huge amount of wear in terms of sizing. Also, the items did take over two weeks to reach us. Understandable with the current situation but slower than other companies.

i applied for a credit account but was refused. and their excuse was they could not identify me at my home address through the credit reference agencies. i contacted all 3 credit agencies who told me they do NOT understand why i was told that i could not be identified when i am on the electoral register. and have been for many years. so this was a LIE by La Redoute. i have an asian name by the way. i then used my moms name (my mom is english) name to apply for a credit account. and got accepted straight away. even though my mother has NEVER lived in this area. or even at my address. so therefore was NOT on the electoral register either. cut a long story short . . . i ordered goods in my mothers name. and paid them off. a while after i then get accepted an account. but when i explain to them (after being honest) that i opened an account before in my mothers name, paid it off, and then told them my asian i was then being treated differently. i then had an issue of logging in to my account. of course La Redoute caused this problem themselves for me. i complained about this. but no joy. and their response was (in other words) go to the ombudsman. and that is what i will now be diong. if you are a black or asian person? do NOT bother with these types of people

We ordered a marble shelving unit.....that arrived with a broken shelf. We called to ask for a replacement, we had to re-order then wait on a refund for the damaged item. The shelves have just turned up unbroken this time...... the only problem being they have sent the wrong shelves now! My advice......avoid!

Terrible customer service. Ordered a white chest, what arrived was two boxes half white and half pine. Called to report the mistake and was told that there wasn’t much they could do, they would get another one out to me but will take up to two weeks. Poor company and very unhappy customer!

Useless. Failed to deliver for 3 weeks then told me they ran out of stock. Tried to blame delivery firm who never received product. Tried to take twice cost of item - many hundreds of pounds. Didnt reply until pressed on several occasions. Avoid at all costs.

One of the worst companies I've dealt with - AVOID. I ordered two bedside tables from them on the 03/12/19 Then there was a long delay (which they blamed on their French warehouse) and only one of them arrived around the 03/01/20. I was told that one of them 'wen't missing' in transit...They refunded me for this table on the 04/01/20. By the way the table itself was a totally different colour of wood (much yellower) than advertised. I then arranged with them to have it returned on the 09/01/20 and no-one turned up (I waited in for 12 hours, thanks to their insanely long pickup window). I then arranged to return it from a different address on the 10/02/20 and again no-one turned up (my parents waited in for 12 hours). Then randomly Hermes turned up unannounced on the 11/02/20 and picked it up, leaving a 'We Missed You' card as a 'receipt'. After a couple of weeks of chasing them up, they tell me on the 03/03/20 that they can't locate the returned table. On the 10/03/20 they say that they still can't find it (despite me providing proof of the return) and refund me for this on the 12/03/20. So all in all, two lost tables and a saga that dragged on for almost 3 months!

Ordered linen bedding and waited several weeks for delivery I eventually was informed they cancelled order!!

Gosh, I wish I'd read some of these reviews before I ordered. Seems I got off lightly compared to some. Ordered a coat, received a confirmation email, then nothing. 2 weeks later I decided I'd check my account to see what had happened - "this order is cancelled - we'll be in touch by email". I've received no such email even after emailing them to ask for an explanation. First time ordering with La Redoute and will now be the last too!

Like all the other reviews, a disaster from start to finish: 1. No communication from their CS 2. They sent the wrong Dimensions & weight to the courier - so it was never delivered, again with no comms 3. The item was then damaged and never shipped on the 2nd date they specified. Thankfully - I paid with credit card and flagged it to my ccard company, will be surprised if they stay in business for much longer..

They are scammers !!! Do not buy !!! For more than two months I have been waiting for a credit from them for a product that they first describe as complete (futon which is then only the base and you must after buying, buy the mattress and the price ends up being huge) then they tell you that you cannot cancel the order even after 20min, wait for delivery (at least 2 weeks for delivery) cancel the day of delivery, then wait for it to return to the warehouse and then make you the refund !!! waste time and resources and then the money never comes !!!! Now let's put the lawyer out of the way !!! don't trust and buy nothing !!!

I wish I had read reviews before ordering. I've spent a fortune in the past month with La Redoute on 2 orders and neither has turned up. I received a confirmation email but the orders never showed on my account. The customer service don't pick up the phone and they don't respond to emails. What do I do now? Will pursue legal action

Ordered a headboard in November. Courrier didn’t deliver it. Got a refund - minus the cost of the delivery even if it wasn’t my fault but the ridicolous My Hermes courrier’s fault. Re-ordered the same item, no updates from the courrier for the past 7 days. Contacted la redoute and the only ‘solution’ they suggested is to order the same item for the third time. Embarrassing customer service. They couldn’t even find a way to justify the situation...

Absolutely useless company who, based on a raft of negative reviews on here, and people having similar issues to me all over social media, I would avoid at all costs. I ordered a kettle from them over a month ago. Since the confirmation email I’ve heard nothing from them. No despatch or tracking emails. I logged back in and apparently it was despatched on the 2nd Dec. It’s been 3 weeks and nothing has turned up, I’ve had no tracking info and no attempted delivery card. I emailed La Redoute 10 days ago and haven’t had a reply despite them saying their max wait time was 5 days. I tried calling twice but was stuck on hold until I couldn’t take anymore. I’m now trying the social media route but so far, failing there too. When you see this site and look at their replies on twitter, this feels like a company in deep trouble. Please do yourself a favour and order from a company who has even the slightest idea what they’re doing.

our product got lost and they didn't give us any clarity on the issue until a month after. We were chasing them for 2 weeks to get an update. In the end we were told we'd be given a refund. Won't be using them ever again.

As per many previous reviewers - AVOID THIS COMPANY . If you have any issues the customer service is non-existant. Wrong good delivered, no response on Returns queries.

La Redoute are terrible to deal with - Avoid. I ordered two items. One arrived. No communication from the company explaining the missing item, which later they claimed was on back order. Getting through on the phone is a world of pain. Rude staff. Bogged down by silly fake procedures. The item that did arrive was dreadful quality, had to disassemble it, re-pack it and return it. No communication from them at any point, though any of the order process. Managed to get one item (the non delivered one) refunded via opening a Paypal dispute. Ive now had to open a second Paypal dispute over the second item. Hideous consumer experience. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid!

I didn’t order a desk- I enquired for 10% off using the credit thing on Black Friday - the next thing I know is I ordered a desk???? I didn’t get 10%- the desk was delivered without any communication of when I wanted it delivered- just lucky I was at home - a free delivery became a £10 delivery- I left 4 e-mail to customer services and did t get any response except the fact they will reply within 24 hours- then I phoned a paid customer services phone line and after 15 min, no one replied- A shame !!!!! Une HONTE - this is not John Lewis customer services - I will put a review in every website I can ! And don’t call yourself french because I am and this is not a french customer service Shame on you

The worst customer service ever. Ordered a table 15 days ago and haven't received anything. They don't reply to any of the emails I sent them. I wish I never ordered anything in the first place there. They don't reply to the calls either. Waiting for 30 minutes and nothing. All I want right now is to get my refund and forget about this company.

It’s been 10 days since I placed my order. I ordered two matching sheets with a pillowcase.They informed me that one sheet is out of stock. After that I messaged them twice that I want to cancel my order .No answers to my emails. Today I am informed that they will deliver the pillowcase. This is the last time I order from La Redoute.
