“The course exceeded my expectations in every way & my progress has been far quicker than I anticipated, so much so that whilst in Germany over the Christmas period I felt confident enough to enter into conversation with not only my in laws but total strangers too. I've already signed up for Beginner German Three & plan to continue on with the courses that follow that. Particularly impressed by the engaging & interactive nature of the teaching, it's not easy to motivate a room full of people who've been at work all day, on a cold winter evening, but our teacher achieved that.”

“After completing the online test to check what level I was at I booked Elementary 1. This turned out to be very accurate and my class were all at a similar level so it worked very well. The teacher was engaging and put me at ease. The 10 week course was challenging but it was pitched just right and I learnt more during those 10 weeks than I ever have before in any other style of learning. I booked straight onto the next course and all but 1 of my group did the same. I would highly recommend Cactus!”

“I already had a basic understanding of French before starting the course from school days and phone apps, but what Cactus teaches you are the real rules of the language and helps you to understand and remember them. The teacher is always very patient and comes to class with enthusiasm and is passionate about the job, which makes it more enjoyable to learn!”
