“It was easy to book a course which was local to me and at a convenient time. It's been encouraging to learn as part of a group and with a teacher rather than just using CD's and online resources. We made rapid progress in the lessons with vocabulary, grammar, speaking and writing. Homework takes about an hour to complete each week. To get the most out of the course you really need to spend another couple of hours per week practising and reviewing learning. Even without managing to find the time for this my German vocabulary and Grammar has improved substantially in two terms. I would recommend my Cactus course.”

“In total I've taken 8 courses with Cactus and had a total of 12 teachers in London, France and a CELTA course in Budapest and apart from one freak drop in standard in a London class, which Cactus have apologised for, they've been superb. Teaching has been excellent, classes well planned and varied and most importantly it's been through Cactus that I've gone from an A2 to B2 in French in one year (which was my goal). Can't recommend them highly enough.”
