“this table lamp arrived on 6/1/16 but it was ordered on 12/12/15 probably the delay was down to the holiday period. however it was well wrapped and we are very pleased with it.we will deal with leader stores again. david parry”

“I am extremely unhappy as I am still waiting for my flooring to be delivered. I keep ringing to get information re delivery but I am being told it's the supplier they are waiting to hear from. This is not good enough!!!!”

“I ordered my sheet of 8' black ash board on 9th December. I realise that I did not select the quick delivery option and Christmas and New Year have intervened but I would have expected it to have been delivered by now. I will leave it a few days longer and then contact you again if necessary. My ratings are therefore provisional and may be higher when I receive the item.”

“I ordered some solid oak furniture board . It was well packaged to avoid chips/scratching and when I opened it I was happy . Used it to make tv bench and various shelving . It sanded up lovely and looks amazing with a clear varnish/wax and furniture polish . Very happy . I would have rated 5 stars but communication about delivery was poor as it advertised next day and this did not happen I rang up 3 days later and was told it would be with me that day , so I waited in for delivery and it did not arrive until the following day again . This area needs improving on as it is an important part of customer service/customer satisfaction . Overall though I was extremely happy with the product .”

“Awful service! I ordered something on the 2nd December and it is now the 30th December and I still have not received my package. However they have taken the money out of my account. When I called Leaders to discuss the matter, the man I spoke to simply said we will have to wait and see if it comes in stock and you receive it next week. I should have received my order weeks ago as when I placed an order is said it was in stock and it still says that now. If I do not receive my order next week as the man on the phone stated I will be expecting a full refund.”

“the product is really good but the delivery is takes too long! I have got used to purchase things online, and immediately i get the confirmation and a copy of the payment but for you i did not get any! i had to ring you several times to ask about this and also to send you e-mails to ask when you will deliver. I was even worried and think may be is a scam online! You said the delivery it may takes from 7 to 10 days but for me was more that 10 days and you said nothing even to apologies for being delay!”

“The price which I paid was good and unfortunately it is the only positive aspect. The materials were supposed to be dispatched and delivered the next day (it happened 4 days later). The items were - oak furniture boards were out of shape what took me the whole week to make them workable. The conclusion: I will avoid your store. Thanks ;(”

“I ordered two 8' x 3' sheets of timber at a cost of £160. When delivered it was substandard and 3 days late. It was supposed to be delivered 'next day' and I needed this to be the case as I had a joiner booked. Whent the product actally arrived it was warped and only partially usable. As the project was late I told the joiner to go ahead and use what he could and then I 'phoned your 'Customer Services'. I was told as I had used the goods (I had little choice as the late delivery had eaten in to my allocated time) I had accepted that they were as ordered and I had no comeback. In compensation I was offered a voucher for £50 which I could only redeem on another purchase and that will never happen.”

“The item took a long time to be delivered, l needed it urgently and was not happy with the colour, it is cream not white, because it is now so close to xmas l have no time to return it and to find another light. A very expensive mistake, will not buy on line again.”
