“The system is simple, essentially you just leave your car keys in a secure box, keep the receipt, and retrieve them when you come back. Probably more secure than the car parks at the airport, and it relies on a computor to keep track of things, but these days what doesn't. Beware traffic jams in the roadworks until mid 2015!”
“There was a problem with the website and I had to make a telephone call to complete the transaction. Even then, it was necessary to go on line the following day to complete missing details despite having passed all the information to the operator. Staff were polite and helpful though.”
“Leeds/Bradford Airport long term parking is a nightmare. Without warning and no signs in the parking area, there is now no bus collecting. Instead one has to go to a roadway which can be some distance away. Also one has now to take a ticket when entering the car park, and if you have paid in advance, when returning have to go to the airport information centre to get a further prepaid ticket to leave the car park. The information centre is about 100 yards from the exit gates and hidden away in a corner. This means trailing one's luggage to the information desk and then returning back to the exit gates to catch the car park bus. Very time consuming and making it all very difficult for travellers. I shall avoid using Leeds/Bradford wherever possible.”
