“Was taken to A & E by ambulance after a fall. The ambulance guys were great. Can not praise them enough. Turns out I had Fractured femur at the neck. Had to wait three days for operation because there was no theatre space. Staff clearly under a lot of pressure, especially caring for patients who are immobile. The ward was overcrowded so staff were working extra hard to meet needs. Clearly a lack of resources. Ward very ergonomically poorly set up for any patient who is immobile. So all the staff are doing a wonderful job. My thanks to them all. Politicians get your act together and support these people doing a really difficult job. Politicians you should be ashamed of yourselves for not supporting our NHS. That goes for all political parties. You are all full of wind and nothing else.”
“but can honestly say the main problem with Leicester seems to be a lack of a walk in centre. This would help folk who are experiencing lack of social care requiring treatment not necessarily in a hospital environment enabling hospital a&e departments to do their nursing duties in what is an extemely busy demanding environment. Gov/politics I guess but something between a decreasing number of gp surgeries & ambulance staff dutifully providing much needed social care can & would help our hospitals better flow & function as they should.”
“I was in Barmoral ward 16 and I would like to say there were good and bad staff... But I would like to thank Sam for looking after me on the 16/9/22 she was out standing. Nhs is under funded and the staff do what they can
We are so lucky to have free health care thank for all you do.”
