If I could rate this ZERO I would. Contract written on my behalf in wrong names, deposits protected in wrong names, bills set up in wrong names. When tenants disputed they won their case and left my property in a disgusting state I believe the fact that Lenwell made so many errors and delayed corresponding with tenants it lead to this poor outcome.

Awful. As a tenant the service we have received is shocking. A lot of my complaint is against the landlord who seems to think that they are not responsible for areas that are clearly within their remit, however, the poor communication, lack of understanding, and general disregard for their clients Lenwells is not helping. I would not use Lenwells again.

I Emailed 3 estate agents and all reponded and booked viewing times,All except Lenwell who seems to think i'm not good enough to get a call back.

Do not use this company, they kept all my outstanding money and I had to fight for it. Although I got it all back eventually (through deposit proctection scheme) it shows these people are no different from a con man. They change into leeches once your tenancy come to an end. Beware!

Dear Robert, Thank you for your comments and we are sorry your deposit settlement did not go as smoothly as the vast majority of cases. I can confirm that current legislation states that agreement must be reached between tenant and landlord on deposit settlements, while the agent acts as arbitrator. This is detailed in your tenancy agreement by law. It is good to know that the TDS have found in your favour and the deposit was ultimately settled to your satisfaction.

I believe that most of the staff at Lenwell would benefit from Equality and Diversity training. There is an assumption that staff can talk to members of the public in any shape or fashion. In my experience, a true professional has excellent listening skills, demonstrates integrity, shows great patience and furthermore learns the qualities /characters of people from divers cultures. There is a behaviour that is evident amongst staff in Lenwell: that has serious concerns. Shouting at member of the public, hanging up the phones duration conversations and speaking inappropriately and ill of potential customer is very very poor.Staff must demonstrate a good and fair listening ear.

Absolutely awful estate agents, steer well clear!!! Rented a house for 2 years and had many problems with leaks, mould, rotting bath panel, etc which lenwell refused to acknowledge. They will do all they can do avoid carrying out any repairs. It is impossible to get hold of someone and they will simply ignore any emails/messages you send. They also muck you about when it comes to getting your deposit back. The person they arrange to do the ‘move out inspection’ lies and they try to blame any damage that was already in the property on you. Staff are rude and unhelpful. No one takes any ownership of the issues. Absolute joke of a business. All they have done throughout our whole tenancy is cause us stress.

It was horrendous. She was very rude and disrespectful. I was dissapointed by the way she spoke with my partner. She led with questions regarding our income and said that she did not want us to view the property if we could not afford it and that we would be wasting her time. I could not believe that first someone over the phone with lead with such personal questions within one minute of a conversation . Secondly, I could not believe that she was so rude and tried to insinuate that we could not afford the place . Due to her attitude, lack of proffessionalism, lack of basic customer service skils and lack of interpersonal skills we imediately wanted to end the call and not have anything to with her and your company. No one wants to have to deal with someone like that throughout the whole process of signing a house.

If I was not in position of paying for my rent , I don't think I would look for somewhere to rent .when the lady who called asked me if I'm working , even though, I was telling , that I have rent coming in , bit of saving , and get a pention every month ,She still did not sound quite happy with what I was telling .Right now Haart do not have any property to let with me if not they would .I have registered with them again .It does mean because I am a pensioner, I can not pay rent is it .

Very very poor customer service for their maintenance department, very rude staff, staff need lots of customer service training to be able to meet an average standard. But the agents in Hitchin were amazing and couldn’t help enough when I was looking for a property.

They are terrible with returning the deposit and trying to extract as much as they can. You have to fight a month to get some of your deposit. Customer service is zero.

Awful. Agent did not come to the appointment. I called after some time, was told they were on the way, waited 40’ in total, nobody showed up. I was not even contacted neither prior nor after the appointment
