£75 for a change of address is ridiculous, especially after having just signed up to you 2 weeks ago. £365 for the year - £75 that's roughly 20% of the insurance cost for a 2 min job. Please come back to me with a solution...until then I'm not going to be recommending you. Thank you very much in advance. Massimo Haymarket Media Group Classic and Sports Car

BE AWAY FROM THEM!!! I have a conviction in my license today because they didn't set up the insurance!! They take your money and do not send to the insurer. Caution!

Quite hard sell to renew, but not as cost competitive as they used to be...would be great if they offered better discounts to renewals as they do to new customers.

Be careful: this company changes the contract details ! - if you don't notice it, you might think you are covered for something you are actually not - if you notice it and call to update, they will charge you for it ! good premium but cannot be trust

TOTAL TOTAL INFORMATION OVERLOAD. THAT MUCH INFORMATION IS SUPPLIED THERE IS A REAL DANGER THAT IMPORTANT INFORMATION IS MISSED. EVEN THE SIGN UP PROCESS ON TELEPHONE IS EXCEPTIONALLY LONG WINDED.

Took out a new policy. Only time they contacted me was when they wanted money of me. Not sure what has happened but I called to enquire about something that had happened to my bike (still not sure what happened) that I decided to let drop as the damage to the bike was as far as I could tell was ok after discussing with the Police who advised me that it was most likely vandalism to the bike and not a car hitting it. So, I thought fine and left it alone. Then when I got a new bike and changed it on the insurance, I was told I had to cancel and take a new policy as it was not suitable (loosing 6 months towards no claims). After this I started receiving emails telling me to contact them. Turns out I owe them more money as apparently there is a claim on-going which I am not entirely sure what is happening. After about an hour on the phone I am left confused as to what is happening. I was told at this point that there is an on-going claim towards me! They would not tell me what is happening and I am still not sure if what has happened to my bike. If some one had hit my bike I could have had it looked at properly and had a mechanic do a full check to make sure the frame was not buckled or anything that could be dangerous to ride. When I had it checked the mechanic was off due to some illness and an assistant had a quick glance at it and said it looked fine and suggested I could come back later. But the main issue is the fact that the insurance did not tell me that some thing had happened (still not sure what as they are not telling me!). If I had none at the time I would have taken different steps and a possible claim towards other driver. Not knowing this has cost me money (they could have told me they would have charged me more when I took a new policy) and possibly endangered my safety. To top it off the person I spoke to was rather rude and tried to pin all blame on me. They also encouraged me to cancel insurance which would have left me with out insurance and possibly breaking the law. Overall I am shocked and not happy with the insurance but hey, you get what you pay for...

having completed the application on line a Lexham rep contacted me to check the details submitted. The rep suggested a couple of changes these were to employment status from unemployed to student / change the model of the scooter. I was the charged an admin charge of 25 pound which I did not expect as my understanding was that we were ensuring the details of the policy were correct. Had I contacted Lexham to make a change than I could fully understand the charge. I feel very disappointed and would not recommend to others because of this despite feeling Lexham appear to be very good in all other areas

I got my renewal quote. £420. Great! But then, because i no longer need to comute to collage and back they changed it to £590? for using my bike a whole lot less? What a rip off. Then, I got an online quote £530 from the same company? Then when i called them with the reference number to accept the policy they made me answer every one of the online questions again? and then tried to add £5 on just because I called them? In summary, I think they are all the same, greedy and only care about getting you to pay as as they possibly can. How can it cost £170 more to not use your bike than it does to use it? I wish someone would do something about these insurance companies? It seems they actually have a license to steal. I could go on and on but it's a waste of time. They just keep getting away with it.

Compare the market.com pointed me to Lexham insurance the quote I was given from compare the market.com was was 490+300 XS once I spoke to the lady at Lexton the insurance was £532 and the XS it's got up to £800 a massive leap and the insurance is going to be split from two insurance companies one for third-party I'm on performance left but I was quoted for fully comp I must've had a really bad day with Lexham and good luck to anyone that dead with them but they will not admit there was a cock up and spoke to me like I'm wet behind the ears my ears are dry over 30 years of driving lol , how can Lexham be authorised to advertise on go compare.com when they are increasing the quotes and prices you receive from go compare.com they increase price The expression I will do you have all the flannel I felt to me would be polishing the turd I do believe watchdog will be interested in There customer service that they believe they give to us lol

Initially gave a very good quote, but after paying the premium phoned me up and claimed that I'd failed to disclose an accident I'd had previously, even though I had and it was fully detailed on their own paperwork. The paperwork that they sent back to me had various mistakes on it and they didn't believe the proof of NCB from my previous insurer. Overall, I'm not sure if they're trying to screw me for an additional premium or are simply incompetent. Doesn't inspire confidence either way.

Extremely unhappy with the service so far, they have had my bike for over two months. I am without transportation and explanation, feel completely let down by lexham. Very unhelpful and either extremely unorganised or deliberately prolonging the procedure.

Very unhappy, my moped was crashed into 3 months ago and I am still without transport.it was a non fault accident. Don't know when my bike will be returned. It's still in the garage and not been repaired or returned.

Not very happy! I did my insurance online but received no email, I then called to check and was told it wasn't worth bring third party fire and theft as they woudnt pay out as excess was same amount as bike. When I tried to cancel it I was told I'd be charged an admin fee (although nothing had gone through yet), I didn't want to pay this so agreed to third party only which I didn't want. I was then told how much that was which was a lot higher than all the other quotes I had for third party. Will not be using again
