Librio creates personalised children’s books. We're fanatical about great storytelling, gorgeous artwork, premium quality and social responsibility. Librio books make a great gift for 0-8 year olds for any occasion, be it Christmas, Birthdays, Christenings or just because.

More Than A Book:
As a company which makes stuff for children, we believe it is our duty to do so in a way that protects and improves the world which they will one day inherit from us. We're so pleased to hear that you were pleased with it Kathleen. I’m sorry that you find our books expensive, but let me give a little insight into why they cost what they do. There are some personalised books on the market for less, but there are also some on the market for exactly the same as ours. As with most things, I’d like to think that the difference in price is reflected in the end product. All of our books are printed locally on premium 100% recycled paper. Each book is created on demand to your exact specifications before being quality-controlled and finished by hand before being dispatched to you. Because we want our books to last a lifetime - both in terms of the enjoyment of re-reading the story for parent and child as well as the quality of the book itself -, we feel the little extra investment is worth it to produce a true keepsake. I hope this helps explain the reasoning behind our pricing :)
