“Only thing stopping a 5 star review was slow initial contact. Tried a few weeks ago, left message, called three times no answer. Gave up. Tried again last week as i needed product info about Victorinox case i had seen. Same again, no answer, no reaction to message. Then noticed online chat, and then a response. James on the line and from there everything else fantastic. Great advice, speedy service and a bargain case. Didn't have the one I really wanted in stock so upgraded me to get me sorted 2 days before I travelled. A bit frustrated upfront but glad I stuck at it as I got the feel of that family shop with quality products and proper advice. I like that!! Hope you answer your phone or messages a bit quicker next time, that winds me up!! I will be back soon. Cheers, Dave.”

This honest feedback is really appreciated. The ability to take calls swiftly is of paramount importance for good customer service, and it's something we are very aware of. We have out-grown our operation in some respects and it's a challenge we're meeting daily by training new staff members for supporting roles. We will be trying very hard to ensure that messages are responded to quickly and that calls are handled first time around. Kind regards, James

“I bought two Delsey suitcases on line. The day after the purchase I receive an email saying that they were not available in store, I would get them by the end of the week, apologies and 10% discount. The week after I send an email to check on the status, no response. 5 days later I try to call, no-one answers. Finally the same James responds on the on-line chat, just to tell me that the suitcases haven't arrived yet, and he offers 20% discount. When I ask to be refunded, he replies "sorry I have to go now but of course". I have not received any communication regarding the refund. I suspect I will never see my suitcases nor my money... UPDATE Following my previous review I was contacted by the company. They apologised for the problem and processed by refund promptly which was much appreciated.”

“As I had some questions and needed multiple order this was a 'phone transaction. The product vendor could not answer technical question for 72 hours but L&H had this information immediately available. As it was a new product pricing needed checking and a price match was in place later on the day. The goods were due in and a vendor 10% discount and limited offer became available which L&H honoured. Overall very satisfied with the service and will definitely consider for future use.”
