We are 74 years old 6 weeks before our holiday you messaged to say you had changed our hotel when we arrived we discovered the hotel was miles from anywhere with no bus service after taking a taxi to protaras we found that our original hotel was 5 minute walk from the centre . I

No customer care, the hotel did not match the description of the hotel, my sister and myself are in our 60s so my sister daughter phoned love holidays to complain and ask for us to be moved, nobody came to see us or check out the place we were staying in, the food was appalling and to top that we spotted a cockroach crawling over the food, when we complained to management we was told we were scamming them, again her daughter tried to talk to love holidays to get us moved and nothing not even a phone call. Absolute disgraceful way to treat customers and will be taking this further, love holidays and the hotel both let us down.

You are not a cheap Travel Firm, by the time us travellers add on Hold Luggage, Transfers it would be cheaper to fly with Jet2 All Inclusive. And the Hotel booked through you should be down graded to 1 Star. The food was so disgusting and of poor choice, no wonder you have no Agents staying there. This is the worst Holiday I have ever been on, I would of had better food camping. El Mouradi club selima in Tunisia, my children and I could not stomach the food, or could the rest of the group I travelled with.

The issue that I have experienced was: We got to Enfidha Airport on flight (K7G2SDV) today the 26th of September 2024. On Getting to the airport and walking to the HoppaGo Transfer desk, we were told that our transfer that we had paid Love Holiday for as part of our package with transfer booking ref: R1978363 was cancelled by Love holidays. We contacted the emergency contact on our booking that says we should contact transfer firm in case of emergency (216 36 369 000) which we did, and we were told that Love holidays cancelled our transfer to our hotel Iberostar Averroes and that we should contact love holidays. We were left stranded in a strange country without any email or contact from love holidays to inform us about this cancellation ahead of time. Please note that the holiday was fully paid for. We had no cash on us. Having looked at the booking package, which says to contact love holidays on +44 1233 800490. This call cost us £4.21/min. We spoke to the customer service at love holidays for 17 mins who was unable to help us and basically told us to find our own way despite owning that there was miscommunication between them and Emira travels. His solution was that we find money to pay our transfer fees ourselves. He said we should send an email for call logs and taxi transfer invoices despite the fact that they love holiday already agreed that the mess they left us in was their fault we ended up paying £110 for a cab ride after spending 4 hours at the airport stranded.

We have just returned from Venice and had the worst experience imaginable due to Love Holidays lies and incompetence. We were due to stay from Saturday 21st to Tuesday 24th September. We had booked two rooms at the hotel Tintoretto: one for me and my fiance and one for my dad. When we arrived to check in, the hotel only had a booking for my dad's room. We showed the receptionist our booking confirmation email from Love Holidays, which clearly showed that we had booked two rooms. The hotel were adamant that they only received a booking for one room. The hotel was fully booked so there was no available room for me and my fiance. We phoned Love Holidays straight away and were told to give them two hours for their emergency team to find alternative accommodation. Two hours passed and we had heard nothing so called them again. We were told yet again that their emergency team were still trying to find alternative accommodation and to be patient. They assured us they would call us back within 90 minutes. They never did. Phoned them back again and once more, were told that they were dealing with things. By this time, we had spent our first afternoon in Venice on and off the phone, feeling very anxious about the potential of having nowhere to stay. This totally ruined the first day of our holiday and caused a lot of upset to my elderly dad. We phoned again to find out the office was closed for the weekend and we had nowhere to stay. After several hours searching for alternative accommodation, we managed to find a room for the night at a cost of £790. On the same day, we also found out that our flights home 3 days later were cancelled due to strikes at Marco Polo airport. There were no flights home with Ryanair, who our flights were originally with through Love Holidays, until the end of the week, so we had to book flights home a day early with Jet2, another expense of over £900. My dad then had to pay for a room at his hotel for the second night for me and my fiance. All in all we spent only two days in Venice, spent £2000 that we shouldn't have had to spend and feel a total lack of confidence that Love Holidays will refund us the full amount of the holiday, plus reimburse us for the two hotel rooms we had to book and pay for and the extra flights we had to arrange. Communication with Love Holidays has been frustratingly difficult and to top it all off, they have conveniently deleted our booking from their app.

Please don't use this company! I don't know how is this company still running! We bought hotel+flight package deal and paid full amount. Then one of us can't make it so we found another friend to replace me, because not only the flight, the hotel is also not non-refundable. Then the nightmare started! It took more than 2 weeks for them to "change the lead passenger and replace the 2nd passenger with a new passenger" - which basically only need a new flight ticket. And for all the time they tried to increase for the PAID hotel! Till the end I had to give them an example that "if you already purchased an item and next day you go back to the same shop and this item's price gone up, can the staff ask you for more money? No! Because you already bought it!!" and they just kept saying "prices are subject to change as per the availability", perhaps they think everyone is an idiot or sth? For the cancelled flight, I have to phone the supplier myself, then the airport tax and fees if any will be refund to loveholidays, then I have to contact loveholidays again to check the amount and ask them to refund the money to my account. What a joke! And any change you do, they charge you service charge on top of Supplier's charge. Honestly, please, everyone, don't choose this company, it is expensive, it is time consuming, it kills your holiday mood, and they aren't able to provide any professional and useful information, and they are not supportive or helpful! Oh, by the way, it's been over 2 weeks since I contacted them for refund, and my friends already came back from this holiday, but I still haven't received my refund.

DO NOT PURCHASE INSURANCE THROUGH LOVE HOLIDAYS AS IT WON'T BE VALID. I'm writing to make a form complaint and request a refund, as I need medical treatment and was unable to use Rush insurance, which I purchased through Love Holidays. I was given a referance number given from my first phone call with a nice lady, and I was told to call back with the treatment price. When i rang back with the price, a man at Rush Insurance said they dony support Love Holidays and that our insurance wasn't valid!!!!! I purchased Rush Insurance through Love Holidays website! Can't wait to touch down in the UK tomorrow, and I'll be straight to urgent care. Regards Amy

Currently on holiday in Santa Susanna. Love holidays is a scam. Here with my disabled son and he is clearly not welcome. Feel quite vulnerable and afraid. Is ok for drugs to be used on site. For women to be violated and allowed to get so drunk that they strip off but no tolerance for disabled people. Description not accurate at all. Is an absolute hell hole. Will never book with this company again as long as I live. Huge exploitation of African workers too which is exceptionally distressing. Love holidays should be ashamed of themselves

Avoid this outfit at all costs, we paid £2500 for a week in Sicily at a supposedly 4 star hotel it was barely 2 star. In addition to the hotels many failings the private taxi transfers that cost £180 paid to Loveholidays failed to drop us off at the right hotel and didn’t even pick us up from our hotel when we were due to depart meaning we had to hurriedly pay for another taxi. Any attempt to reason with LH over the issues is met with outright lies and fabrications who hide behind an Indian call centre and a PO Box address in Hammersmith London. It really is a thieving scumbag of a company…

Been trying now near 6 weeks to change Lead Passenger name with zero such luck. Love Holidays, love to take money out your bank with pleasure, but if need them anything else will be fobbed off with lies, promised call back and snooty your thread chat and email, has been .closed. All did, my charge me £125 for ticket only change and rest be done within 24hr. Still waiting and not going anywhere. Don't have yours money or strength, to go on a holiday from hell, these bunch clowns!

booked a holiday on Saturday on my phone I typed my partners name as Kim and not Kimberley my mistake and im willing to pay to change. I've been trying to change it ever since with both Love holidays and sunexpress airlines not yet doing so arguing that the other should do so, I don't even feel like this holiday now and love holidays charged me £25

My 86yr old father booked a holiday. On way to the hotel, they rang and said there is a problem and he needs to pay for 2 nights and they will sort. This left him in a foreign country with no hotel booked. Disgrace

I recently bought a package holiday to Turkey (booking ref: 65758976) staying at the Blue Wave Suite Hotel in Alanya. The hotel was was advertised as a 4-star hotel. Unfortunately, the accommodation provided has been far below the expected standards. Firstly, upon our arrival, we were alarmed to find that our family suite room was located outside the main hotel grounds, necessitating us to leave the hotel premises to access it. This was particularly distressing as it was the middle of the night, and I was accompanied by my two young children. This situation presented a significant safety concern, as navigating dark, unfamiliar surroundings with children is not appropriate or safe. Furthermore, the family suite we were assigned is not representative of the photos displayed on the Loveholiday website. Rather than a luxurious 4-star hotel room, the accommodation is more akin to a poorly maintained apartment. The condition of the suite and its surroundings was really bad, with an elevator and exterior areas that are extremely shabby and untidy, including cleaning products and a mop left outside our room for the duration of the stay. Additionally, one of the rooms did not have an AC system, this was the children's room. As a result, both of the children experienced discomfort during the night, repeatedly waking up due to the excessive heat in their room. There was also broken glass on the floor in the room, which was extremely dangerous to the children. The hotel’s Wi-Fi service has been unreliable and frustrating. Every single time the WIFI signal was disconnected, and this happened throughout the stay. The hotel stated that we needed to use their App and that the WIFI will be stable, that was never the case. The Loveholiday website states that the beach is 5 minutes away from the hotel. In fact it was a 15-20 minute walk and moreover the beach was dirty with left over food, plastic packaging and tins. A street market was put up outside our accommodation and in order to get to the main hotel grounds, we needed to go through that market which was not appropriate. Again, this was never mentioned. We made the complaints to Loveholiday and they replied back with dishonest comments from the Hotel. I found that the accommodation provided to be entirely unacceptable and not reflective of the 4-star rating under which it was marketed. Loveholildays showed a 4 star rating hotel when in fact it was more like a 2-3 star rented room accommodation. I would definitely not recommend Loveholidays to anyone.

Tui changed my flight times so because of that i asked love holiday to give me my refund back because the flight tui had randomly changed it to didn't suit what i needed so it wasn't my fault and even after showing love holiday proof that tui had sent the flight refund money back to love holiday the communication and service from these guys [love holiday] is absolute horrible even the agents that work for them that you speak to on the phone they are rude and act like they dont even wanna deal with the issues that your facing. This will be my last time booking through this agency. Till now they haven't explained to me how long it will twke to recieve my refund. Just avoid this company

None of the descriptions of the holidays are accurate and you don’t find this out until you arrive and then find out that a lot of the descriptions of the hotels are totally false. Do not use this company

This is the worst travel company I have ever dealt with. I needed to rearrange my holiday due to a friend we were travelling with having an op. You can’t change any of it through love holidays you have to change your flights directly first. Changed my flights went back to them and no availability at our hotel. Fair enough I asked about another hotel. No availability. Ok can you tell me where you deal with that does as I have now changed my flights as per your rules. No sorry you have to tell us where u want to go. I’ve tried that!!! Ok I’ll cancel then as I’ve had to sort my flights out direct and paid for the changes I’ll pay to cancel. Yeah but if you do that you lose the whole holiday including your flights!

Bad service. Lack of communication,no customer care,outright refusal on discussing anything regarding any help I think these people should not be allowed to trade and rip people off. The amount of money that these things cost and they think they can treat you in this manner is not on !

I booked a four star ⭐️ on the 10th arrived after 12 so it was the 11th july and had no were to stay as no reception on a night open in the accomodation . I was travelling alone and vulnerable. When i did get to my hotel at 8 am when it opened i would give it a one star i reported to love holidays and they did nothing. Urine stained beds no air con etc etc . Love holidays just said standards change in different countrys and a bit of wear and tear i am in the process of trying to get compensation

I Booked a holiday on my phone last night 9th September to Sharm El Sheik WITH MY HUSBANDS CREDIT CARD I SUFFER FROM DEPRESSION ( sorry about capitals) I was in a bad place at the time and didn't understand all the information. I booked a connecting flight to Istanbul instead of a direct flight to Sharm. The hotel in Sharm was also part of the booking. I paid £300 deposit. When my husband found out this morning 10th Sept he was very angry and told me to cancel. I tried to cancel online but they wouldn't let me until I paid £1,2800 I rang customer services and explained everything to them but they wouldn't allow me to cancel? apart from taking £300 off the credit card they said I could not cancel unless I paid. I could not pay due to my husband blocking his credit card. No 14 day cooling off period and way of cancelling the. holiday. What an absolutely terrible rip off company! Does anyone please know who I can contact to make a complaint? There is no contact email

Absolutely shocking customer service. Just had to cancel my holiday when it's 2 weeks away. My flight in my package deal was cancelled by BA, love holidays did not notify me of this I found out by looking at the flights. I have no idea how long my return was cancelled for but I found out 3 weeks before my holiday approx. With this I immediately called love holidays and logged onto their Web chat. They assured me it would be looked into, it took a day for any communication to be given one flight,by the time I found out it was the only option the flight was full and via the Web chat I was told either cancel or go a day later. Its not feasible just to return to the UK a day later when you have to work and pick up the expenses yourself. I called love holidays everyday as I was very upset and had found other flights on that day on skyscanner with easy jet and TUI. On the phone the customer service team wrote these down and said it would be passed to the flight team who by the way you can't talk to on the phone. This went on for days to be eventually told via the chat it had to be the same airline, had I been told there was nothing they could do on the phone I wouldn't have wasted so much time and got so stressed awaiting replies. I booked this holiday in advance and gutted I've had to cancel due to slowness from love holidays and they never picked up on the cancelled flight and actioned quick enough. I also want to say the customer service team REFUSED to put me through to a manager when asked. I was very upset and they all showed me little compassion and continually gave me mixed messages. I will NEVER book through love holidays again. And I will be advising everyone I know to avoid. They have caused me stress and anxiety and now left without a holiday when I should be leaving in 2 weeks.
