Avoid using these. They are trying to stuff me with a credit note rather then give my refund back which they cancelled. They are breaching there own refund policy. Its disgusting service.

Paid £153 already due to pay £303 tomorrow for Malta holiday , Ryanair e mailed so I pressed the button for refund but live holidays only offered a voucher to use be 12th April 2021 !!! We don’t want to go abroad for a very long time if at all , sticking to own country but that’s not the point , by law a refund should have been offered

My holiday with them isn’t due to be for weeks yet. They are still taking my payments and if I stop I lose everything apparently as I have then breached the contract. They are sending me daily emails about their amazing holiday deals but my email messages to them get the response “this customer service email is no longer monitored and therefore we won’t respond to anything you send to us using this address”. I can’t change the dates for my holiday or request a refund online, only cancel it using set clicky boxes, which I assume means no chance of monies already having being paid being returned. They aren’t answering the phone (although they do say only phone if your holiday is this week). They do have an abta travel number which might be worth an email to. I’ve booked using a credit card So I think I’ll start there. But if abta and my card company can’t help I’m going to do what I’ve always done in the past screen shot and gather as much evidence as possible and then use the online county court website based in Northampton. The fee is often less than £100, you complete the forms online and they even send the bailiffs round on your behalf to collect the monies if the court decides the other party is at fault (they look at all the files and papers you submit, you don’t have to go to court or anything). Every time the bailiffs get cash off the guilty party they send you a cheque plus interest. I bet love holidays will be claiming loss of business profits and staff wages etc etc off the government.

Go through your banks guys, make a dispute, explain to your banks what they are doing, they will get you your full refund. That's what I have done. Then boycott these fraudsters.

They are illegally withholding refunds from customers and prioritising some key workers over others. Awful customer service. The reserve 0/5.

Shocking communication. Was due to travel on 9th April and the company didn’t even bother to tell me that the hotel is closed despite the hotel advising that Love Holidays cancelled my booking on 1st April. Knew that it wouldn’t be going ahead but absolutely no contact from Love Holidays to confirm this or to advise about a refund. When you go on your booking you are almost forced to accept a credit note which, if the company hadn’t been so terrible customer service wise I might have accepted. If you do manage to get hold of the company they cut you off at the first mention of a refund. Advised them that we had two rooms booked under the same booking and I need to refund my family for their part however absolutely no understanding at all. I confirmed with the hotel directly and Love Holidays supplier OTS and both confirmed that NO payment has been received by them so this company is sitting on over £1700 for what?! I am afraid the company will go bust before I can retrieve any of my money back and to salvage what was supposed to be a birthday treat with my family. Absolutely scam artists - avoid at all costs.

Beware this company is not a proper travel agent I was stranded abroad due to COVID19 and the borders being closed. Their response was "we are only an agent and therefore cannot do anything" stick to a proper travel agent - useless

We are entitled by law to a cash refund for a cancelled holiday not credit vouchers. Will NEVER use this company again

They took money from me after they cancelled my hotel booking. Now I can understand if it was a package holiday and they’d already paid the hotel and flight. But now they won’t answer their phones, emails and chat line.

I've had some wonderful holidays with LH before...but would not touch them with a barge pole to be honest now..Yes this is an epidemic happening which we are ALL trying to deal with...trying to get my refund for monies paid for my holiday and flights cancelled through no fault of mine is mindblowingly difficult...why oh why are they putting us through this at a time of global unrest when if they could have released a statement saying ALL money will be refunded to all but we need to do so in date order of cancelled holiday...no they have left all all in the dark begging for OUR money back...needless to say will not be using again

In light of the emotional struggle, and financial hardship that most of us are going through at this difficult time, you'd expect companies to act in a reasonable manner. Suffice to say , I will never use loveholidays again and would advise anyone who reads this to steer well clear. They are appalling on my opinion and deserve to go out of business. I don't need to say why, all the other posts say enough about the way this organisation is treating its customers. Nothing short of theft!!!

Although I appreciate the fall out from the virus outbreak is unprecedented, it's times like these where it becomes evident how much an organisation values & supports their customer's. I'm completely shocked by Love Holiday's handling. Lack of communication & transparency, flouting regulations, instilling anxiety as well as the degradation of their customer's literally 'begging' for a refund that's legally theirs. What on earth? I've sent an email & two messages politely requesting my refund which still haven't been acknowledged despite my travel date coming & going. Shame on you, Love Holidays.

Not happy as Ryanair has cancelled flights to Malta 29th april 2020 and offered refund but love holidays are only offering credit note - due to the pandemic we don’t want to go on holiday abroad for many years if ever again plus we don’t know we stand with our jobs and we have £303 balance by 15th april next week (which we won’t be paying as we are worried Live holidays may go to the wall and we will lose it all
