Every holiday that I have been on has been booked through love holidays, easy and affordable, never had any issues

I, as many, have reported LH to the CMA and ABTA. There is a comment from LH on Martin Lewis's website last week (listed as one of the worst companies for refunds) saying that once they receive a flight refund, they pass on that refund to their customers within 5 days. I have heard nothing in two weeks, but thankfully obtained my flight refund via my Credit Card company under a Section 75. A package holiday? I think not. Too much like hard work to obtain a refund.

DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY. You cannot get hold of them , had a booking for early April, Love holidays cancelled us in March, due to covid19, still trying to sort out. From now on , I will always book through a travel agent that I can talk too face to face.

Just reiterating a previous review of mine since people posting on here do not seem to be reading earlier reviews, which might have helped them. The government IS taking action. The CMA has written an open letter to the travel companies they have had most complaints about - they haven't named them, but we all know who they are! It took me 4 months to get my money back but persistence and complaints to ABTA amongst other measures finally paid off, but i hope this latest action by the govt. means things improve rapidly for the rest of you awaiting refunds. Type in "CMA latest" and you will see "CMA open letter to package travel sector " dated 10th July. In a nutshell, if companies do not obey the law pronto, enforcement action will be taken against them! The CMA still want people to complain to them if they are not getting their refunds - it is really easy and the work of moments to report a company on the CMA website - you do it under "companies acting unfairly during Covid 19". If you read the open letter on the CMA website you will see that it isn't just cancelled holidays that you are entitled to receive a refund, but one that goes ahead but that you were prevented from taking due to government restrictions, and also companies making cancellation charges or lying that you are only entitled to a credit note. PLEASE spend five minutes of your time looking at the CMA site and reporting Loveholidays as that will be more effective than any other action, although using RESOLVER, contacting ABTA and reporting to all the consumer bodies is also worth doing, but the CMA is an independent government body that has the power to sanction Loveholidays if they do not adhere to the Package Travel Regs 2018. Keep reporting them to CMA until you get your refund.

Love Holidays have proved to be the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They are proving impossible to contact directly, messages and emails ignored, no phone lines. I have been owed £3,500 pounds for over 2 months and all they do is put obstacles in the way. Avoid like the plague.

Not a very honest company, holiday cancelled and Love holidays refused to refund me, I had to do a charge back to get my money as they would not honour The Travel package regulations 2018.. The customer service on the live chat chat are rude and just give you cut and past answers and not even answering the question, then when you mention refund they cut you off.. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, nothing but thieves and conmen.

Would like to have given zero stars. Absolutely shocking service. Will never use this joke of a company again. No means of contacting anyone. Would advise others in the same situation to open a dispute via Martin Lewis' MSE site. Hopefully the more people who open an official dispute, the more likely someone will sit up and listen.

When we all booked our holidays "love holidays advertised they were a package holiday company "under ABTA regulations. They seem to have changed their terms and conditions mid term. They are bordering on criminal activity. No phone lines open "no email address just refusing delivery "live chat hardly ever available. Can't see them trading much longer. Disgraceful 'diabolical "Dissonest 'disrespectful "absolutely the worst holiday company on the planet.

Same as most people. I don’t know how they’re getting away with this’ it’s a shambles disgraceful and unacceptable. Someone with authority needs to put a stop to this company trading until this mess is sorted out.

Booked to go end of July, Hotel confirmed as closed, as yet despite contacting LH (with great difficulty) as they have closed all means of contact except for live chat which is only available occasional, informing them of this , no response, no alternative, holiday still going ahead, Ryanair have informed us no refunds, flights going ahead !!! So I am meant to travel abroad with children to find no hotel open or loose my flight money, do not book with company, total fraudsters.

It is totally unacceptable that customers cannot make contact with travel advisers. Live Chat does not work. After 4 days of trying I logged on before they opened this morning and so joined the queue at 176 customers ahead of me. After a few updates and 50 minutes I moved to 165 in queue. That was where my updates stopped and system froze. Was I cut off? Quite likely. Frustrating and quite clearly I am one of many unsatisfied customers. Customer service terrible (non-existent)

Booked our hols to Gran Canaria all inclusive, paid LH all the money. We were on the EasyJet plane (the company LH chose to fly us out), sat at end of runway when announcement that flight cancelled due to sandstorms. Tried to contact LH next day, which was Sunday, as didn’t arrive home till midnight and couldn’t get hold of them. Left message on their Resolver. No one contacted me so rang on the Monday to be told if I wanted to go out to GC I would have to pay the flights, I asked about our all inclusive booking at the hotel and was told the room would now be gone and if we wanted to book room, we would also have to pay for that. After lots and lots of emails, they eventually gave us a refund but have kept £431.00 without any explanation. Tried to contact every way I can but can’t get any response. Even done x2 recorded delivery letters and both times ‘company refused to sign for letter’ and both letters have ended up back on my doorstep. I have now gone through Small Claims Court to try and get this £432.00 back. I will not use LH again and would advise anyone else thinking of using LH, please think again!

Absolute Joke, payed our deposit, then two subsequent month’s instalments of over £600 each time , then Tui cancelled our flight to Cyprus , wait for an email from Loveholidays like hell , they knew our flight was cancelled but two weeks later they took our final balance of over £2000, still no email. Then 6 days later yes an email ..... telling us our holiday had to unfortunately be cancelled. It gets better !!!! We don’t want a credit note we want no more dealing with Love holidays , then the bomb hit us . Because we want a refund of £4000+ they say it could take up to 6 months !!!! It’s our money not theirs, we stuck to our side of the bargain and payed all our instalments & final balance on time we can’t have our hard earned money until nearly Xmas. I wouldn’t touch you with a barge pole love holidays total & utter disgrace .

They have no clue. We had to let them know that our hotel was closed. We would have turned up in Lanzarote with young children and no where to go. Also they are trying to get out refunding flights. There online chat, only way to talk to them is never available. Always busy.

This company are the worst I have ever had deal with, they have broken their contact by removing all their phone lines, I contact them (average of 3 hour wait on the live chat) only to be told they are referring me to the amendments team, I then receive the same email I was sent months ago asking me to send back conformation that I wised to proceed, I did (again) only to never hear form them again. I am also told I need to sort the flights out myself and Easyjet have not announced their summer schedule, so unable to do that and I have 24 days until I am supposed to depart. All they are doing is stalling so they can keep your money. The service is disgusting and they should be stopped trading until they have spoken to all their customers. This is making me ill, I just do not know what else to do. It is impossible to get hold of anybody from the company! I see a lot of other people are in agreement with me as well. I am really not surprised.

So wish I had read these reviews before booking! We normally book holidays through the same reliable companies but due to Covid , we made the mistake of contacting this disreputable company. Consequently ,we are in the same boat as everyone else . Can't contact them , can't access Live Chat, can't even get hold of the hotel to establish whether they are open or not . Diabolical!

Where do I start. Customer service was ok when booking our holiday. We were due to fly out in April this year to Tenerife. Our holiday was cancelled by Love Holidays which due to the virus we totally understood. On trying to get a refund for our holiday after numerous phone calls and emails they eventually, bless them, dug deep into their money pot and gave us £19.90 for a total cost of our holiday of over £1200.00. Since then If they did have customer service ( which if they did, desperately need retraining on how to answer a phone and reply to emails ).This is an ongoing situation to which are only course of action for us to get a satisfactory result is via a solicitor.

Bad customer service. They make it impossible to get hold of with regards to a compliant. They failed to assist when we were almost stuck in Egypt and so far failed to refund us our cancelled holidays. Three weeks past the legal limit. They have removed all contact numbers and e mail addresses.
