I've just seen a add from loveholidays in the paper offering holiday in fuertvevtura 14 September but also read in same paper the government saying no main land Spain and all Spanish island's. So people don't book with this company they will take your money and that's the last you will hear from them

Impossible to contact them . They’ve taken £1400 for a hotel and my flights were cancelled. They refuse to answer my messages and you cannot contact them by phone or email . Their live chat is not fit for purpose and deliberately cut you off when asked a specific question about my booking which does not fit into the generic faq category .Basically they have stolen my money .

Booked a Greek hotel only in February 2020 with an August 2020 arrival date. Due to Covid-19, we opted to change the date (through Love Holiday's Manage My Booking) to August 2021, which was on offer. Our hotel on the Manage My Booking page now shows the change, but we are still awaiting confirmation. Love Holiday have now attempted to take a payment for our August 2020 stay. There is no way of contacting them, other than by Live Chat but I have been attempting to do this for around six hours now on different days of the week, refreshing the page as I am repeatedly told all Live Chat agents are busy. One afternoon alone, I sat at my laptop for four hours. I appreciate that Love Holidays are having to accommodate large volumes of enquiries, but they should not offer something (change to our booking) without delivering.

I had read far more negative than complimentary on their website, however, I believe in giving praise where due. We requested a return of the money paid, rather than accepting a credit note, on the 14th of July, I'm very pleased to tell you that these funds were paid to us on the 22nd. So well done love holidays, I trust this gives heart to those still waiting.

Yeah got all my money back at last, taken 3 months but got there in the end without using section 75 or chargeback. Just left a message on live chat as i could not speak to anybody. Got an email today saying sorry its taking so long to get you a refund????

Shocking customer service. We were due to go to Majorca on 17th July, they cancelled holiday on 10th with no reason why. Flights still went. We have had refund for hotel and transfer but in order to get refund for flights I have to speak to the airline to claim taxes back. Taken me hours on live chat this morning to get any kind of answer, and I consider myself lucky to have been able to get on. Unless you sit there at 8.55 and keep refreshing you have no chance. No number to speak to anyone. AVOID this company at all costs, disgraceful lack of communication from them.

I'm currently due to travel in August and can see on trip advisor the hotel I am booked is closed for the season. You have continued to take money knowing this and have not contacted me directly, you as a company are so unprofessional. I will never book with yourselves again

Shocking no way of speaking to anyone ..i know times are difficult but you need to step-up to the challenge ..we are supposed be going to Portugal but its on the list of non essential by fco ..no idea if we are going will it be cancelled nothing ...taken things into my own hands and re arrnaged my flights for next year which has cost me extra 360 I assume I have lost what I have paid for accomodation..love holidays will go bust soon

Hol in 3 wks.Waited 2 hrs for live chat. My hotel is closed, they did not notify me . Spent 2 hours on phone, operator kept advising go to manage my booking , not poss for me to amend hotel. Round in circles. No resolution. They will contact me but when and how? Then cut me off. Messages on Manage my booking which I can't see? FIASCO

OMG !!! this is the worst experience ever. You cannot speak to this company to resolve any problem. 7 hours yesterday trying to get through and still not resolved Save yourselves a mountain of heart ache , do not use Loveholidays !!!

I feel the way Loveholidays has handled the COVID crisis has been appalling, particular for a company that is meant to be the 5th biggest tour operator in the UK. I will never use them again and I would strongly advise others to avoid. We booked a week's holiday to Menorca on 24 July 2020 and ended up cancelling it and losing over £1,000. By taking away any forms of communicating with them they created massive uncertainity for us and I feel their behaviour has been unjust and immoral. I am very aware of the fact that this has been an extremely difficult time for the whole industry but to refuse to provide any channels of communication is woeful! With young children, we did not feel safe to fly and did not want to go away. We had contacted the hotel directly and they advised the booking was going ahead. A few days before we cancelled in early July, we could book an easyjet flight on the same plane we were due to go on. So based on this info, we took a gamble that the holiday would go ahead and we didn't want to go. In the end Easyjet did cancel our flight. If only we could have had a conversation, we would have postponed until next year! Having read the other reviews, it was clear if we paid the remaining balance (a further £1,000 plus) it was very unlikely we would be able to get a full refund quickly or easily. They may not have 'legally' broken the contract with us but their approach has been extremely negligent and for this reason I am lodging a formal complaint about them with ABTA - the regulator for travel tour operators. I would recommend others to do the same.

I keep getting email from love holidays who are trying to take money from my bank account. I tried calling them to no avail. There live chat does not work and emails their not responding to. I’m sick and tired of your emails. And no your not having my money as I didn’t book with you this year I had to phone my bank as I never booked a holiday this year with Love holiday. I booked with travel republic.. my card was stolen and my personal details etc were hacked into on my computer. So ask your self love holidays. Don’t try and take money from their bank accounts without good reason. I haven’t used your company since 2013 and frankly looking at the poor reviews over the lockdown period . Don’t think I will ever book through you again. Your not what your made out to be and certainly not a 5 star online holiday shop. I will continue to use British airways who don’t charge for luggage.

For 3 weeks I sat at my computer from 08.56 refreshing the link constantly to get onto live chat but as soon as the Digital time clicks onto 09.00 up pops the message All our Customer Service Agents are busy helping other customers and stays that way until 17.00 when OnLine Chat closes. surely 15 days of constant refresh I would have been able to speak to someone. If I telephone the numbers given on the website I simply get referred back to Online Chat. So a little research and finding that there is another number under "We Love Holidays" I telephoned 0203 897 1185 and got through to a REAL PERSON in the Sales Team who reluctantly put me through to the right Department. My holiday was in danger of being Cancelled by Love Holiday's because my Bank Card was faulty and a payment was missed. There was no way I could amend or change anything through Manage My Bookings because none of the section links would open. Thankfully I researched the Umbrella Company for Love Holidays and managed to speak to someone before my holiday was cancelled.

Booked with Loveholidays full package (flights and hotel) Jet2 advised they refunded my fight money 24th April yet Loveholidays stated they had no refund. Everyone I know had their refund from Jet2. Loveholidays cut off all contact etc. closed phone lines, do not reply to emails and took off live chat. I've reported them to Watchdog and ABTA.
