“Lots of room for improvement. I know it's a free site with free prizes, but the site is very clunky and jumbled. I am a FPL user and love Chris' site so I suppose it has that to compete with. I'll still carry on checking it every now and then and I'm sure it'll improve with more users - at the moment I just feel the site owner gets much more than its users do, points usually mean prizes but this site seems quite mean with its prizes”
Thank you very much for your review. All comments are looked into to improve our games. I would like to answer your concerns to hopefully persuade you to carry on playing Lucky Phone.
The 'clunky and jumbled' comment is completely valid and we are currently working on the results pages to be more fluid to make all draws much easier to check.
Your other comment we do feel we need to have the right to reply to though on a public forum. We are working hard to be in a position similar to FPL and I can unfortunately confirm (for us) we have nowhere near covered all the prize funds we have distributed. We have run the draws for just over 12 months and have given away over £8,000 in prizes which is massively bigger than any income we have coming in with the small user base we have.
As the site you have mentioned themselves said "After the first year, the concept was proven and it was making some profit. So I doubled the prize pot to £20 per day on the 1st anniversary (1st April 2012). For 20 months not much else happened… the traffic and revenue grew slowly, but not by much." This quote shows we can't really compare and compete with the prizes FPL currently give out, they have many more visitors over a greater time period meaning much bigger prizes, which is what we aspire to.
Lucky Phone started on 15th January 2015 and has not given out £10 a day, but £15 per day over 2 draws and also any claims that have been accumulated by points. This bonus points system did not have to be introduced, it could quite easily have been just a lucky winner per day like other sites, but we like the excitement of everyone having a chance to collect points and claim prizes.
The monies given out to draw winners is actually less than given to points claimants so 'mean with prizes' we feel is a bit unfair.
On a personal note I can see your account currently has 250 points (£2.50) but you have also missed 150 points on days that have not been checked (£1.50) which can be seen on the points statement on your account.
For a free game which you have played for just under one month a potential points collection paying £4 I would think is a very good use of a players’ time for just a couple of minutes per day. Which is in addition to possibly being the lucky winner of one of the draws which is an instant payout.
Thanks for playing and we hope you continue to do so.
