“The best coconut oil I've ever used. Ethical, aromatic and not too overly coconutty. I'm very upset that it is being withdrawn ( if that's the case, as I'm not able to get it anywhere else that has bbe date past Feb 2019).”

Hi Thenmoli, Thanks for sharing this about our Sri Lankan Oil. We now only have our Philippines Oil available. It is still the same brilliant quality (Extra Virgin, Fair Trade and Organic) but has a slightly stronger aroma. It may be worth giving the 300ml a go to see if you like it. Thanks Harry

“Ordered this online a couple of days ago and very impressed! Delivery was a couple of days as normal, EXTREMELY happy with the product! The highest quality coconut oil I could find and for ONLY £4 each!!!! Bought 2 jars as it's such great stuff! From a nutritional standpoint coconut oil is PACKED in heart healthy SAT FATS! Mono and poly unsaturated fats perfect for frying and doesn't have an overwhelming coconut taste. 5 Stars”

Hi Julia, Thanks for this and its great to hear that you're pleased with the products and packaging. Re the emails, we send these to let you know how your order is progressing: acknowledgement of your order; once it's been processed; DPD advise that they have received your order and give you the tracking number; DPD message on the day of delivery with your one-hour delivery slot; and we also email with some tips of how to use the products, which customers generally find useful. Sorry that you've found these to be too many - it's a tricky one to balance between keeping you informed (by ourselves and DPD) and not overdoing it! Petrina

“I have only used the spearmint and basil so far but oh my, its fabulous!! I'll never use shower gel again. One teeny point though - quite a lot of packaging, the plastic wrapper in particular seems excessive!”

Thanks for this, great to hear that you're enjoying using our soap. Re the plastic wrapper, we'd prefer not to have to use this and are looking at a biodegradable alternative, which is currently on test. The reason we have to use a wrapper like this is due to the unique formulation of the soap. Soaps are normally made from palm oil and a soap made wholly from coconut oil, as ours is, is uncommon. Ours has better foaming and lathering qualities than soaps made with palm oil, and its unique formula means the soap can sweat. We have to consider this in storing the soap, hence the use of flow wrap. We realise that this is not ideal and assure you that the packaging weight is minimised, and the material is recyclable. Hopefully we can change this soon. Petrina
