My only criticism is the infrequency of shuttle buses when I arrived back at Luton; I had to wait over 30 minutes for one (on top of having an hour delay on my flight). Completely faultless service, otherwise.

Very good overall, only complaint is that it took 40 minutes to find a parking space on arrival (early Fri afternoon)

On half of my visits to the official airport parking the gate system doesn't recognise me as pre-booked and then there is a delay in getting out as you have to sit blocking the exit gate while you push the assistance button which on this occasion took a good few minutes to even get an answer (as the car beside me had similar issues). This meant that the only two exit gates were blocked so a queue built up behind......... not great at 11pm after a flight. I do like the security of the site and the staff are all pleasant and trustworthy. The buses are very regular and you never wait more than about five minutes or so.

Good points - Website easy to use, good pricing, close to the airport and no problems at the barrier Bad points - Bad bay marking, surface falling to bits & some terrible parking

I got charged £21 extra for leaving the car park 7 hrs late - given that 1) the delay was Ryanairs fault and 2) it originally cost me £61 for 5 days, these seems like profiteering. I think you should at least charge a fare hourly rate, or better still pass on the cost to the airline.

Everything was great on parking for departure but then on return when got back to car,I put ticket in to leave car park,and it read that I owed £152 outstanding,bearing in mind it was 12.30 AM and we'd just got off a 4.5 hour flight,I had to press the assistance button,it was a while before they answered,lucky I printed off the reference when booking,because assistant asked for it,and the arm got lifted to exit,other wise it would of been a very good rating.

Thank you for this opportunity to comment on my parking experience. However I am not booked to park until 4 June 2015 AFTER USE OF PARKING REVIEW. I booked by internet and this was fine. I read the instructions and found my arrival process was very straightforward, greeted by name and took my ticket. Departure was more difficult. I expected to insert my ticket at the barrier and leave. This did not happen. It was night time and dark. The barrier is lit but not sufficiently for me to read the notices on the mechanism. After some delay I found the help button and the operator cleared me. On returning home I reread my internet receipt and found the exit procedure details. I suggest these should be high lighted on the print out to make them more obvious. I did note some other drivers had a prepayment card which opened the barrier, but I had no instructions on how to obtain one.

This is the only UK Airport I fly from that charges to drop off, it has the most appalling road surface, you take your life in your hands walking from short stay to the terminal and then have to be forced to walk through a foul haze of cigarette smoke before you can access the terminal. I travel frequently and only use Luton as a last resort as once you have experienced the above, there is not enough room Airside to sit anywhere comfortably and then if you are really unlucky, you have to fly with Ryanair, none of which can be described as a joyous experience.

When I arrived at the airport I was sent from the correct area to the short term car park only to be sent back again. On calling the Customer Service I had confirmed I was in the right place in the first place. When I finally checked in, the service was at best surly. Rather than admitting a mistake, they tried to push the blame onto me for arriving later than expected. Any time I might of saved by valet parking was lost in the scenic tour of Luton Airport car parks. Will not use again.
