Had to press button for attention at exit and quote booking reference for pre-paid parking. Don't think I was the only one as there was a bit of a queue...

Well located, easy to get to and short wlk to terminal. Car park surface very poor though, not well suited for roll-along suitcases - especially in the wet.

Only problem was the bus for the return- a long wait! 2 medium buses passed before ours.

Poorly signposted. Poor entrance, easy to take wrong route. Good bus service. Good availability.

We stayed in the mid stay car park which is great because it's not too far. Only takes 3-4 minutes to get to the airport and you can get parking here at a good rate. However I was hugely disappointed at the frequency of the bus. It was only coming round 25-30 minute intervals not 10-12 minutes as the website says. This was awful especially seen as on the way out we had to stand and wait in strong winds for so long and on the way back after a delayed flight we had to wait in the cold and rain. Good job we have ourselves plenty of time on the way out because the frequency of the bus would have made us late for the flight. There isn't even a pedestrian path to get to the airport as this would have been far quicker than waiting for the bus!!!

the wait for the bus was not really acceptable - when I have used this car park in the past i have ended up walking to the terminal rather than wait for the bus as it is quickler

The long stay car park is not signed posted very well Would just like to add the driver of the bus on our return journey was very rude to another group of passengers

The location and price are great BUT every time that I have pre-paid the barriers do not recognise this when I come to leave. This is very frustrating when you just want to leave and get home. Please fix this. There is clearly a wider problem as the people who answer the help button call admit this too. They are helpful but clearly frustrated that it doesn't work automatically.

When I was leaving the car park I had to call for assistance as it said I had an outstanding payment of over £100, this was annoying because I had pre-booked and this shouldn't have happened. Luckily, the assistance was very smooth and I could leave the car park easily.

I booked the long term car park. It was easy to find, sign posting is good. I had prebooked but the entry system doesn't recognise the booking so I buzzed for assistance and gave my booking reference. The assistant reassured me that my booking was valid. Fortunately it was early and there was no queue. On leaving, the system again did not recognise my booking and I needed the assistant. So apart from the discounted rate, prebooking doesn't improve the efficiency of entry and exit.

We parked in the gold coloured carpark, which is stated as being a few minutes walk from the airport. Overall it was fine, tarmac not too bad, spaces marked out. But the most annoying aspect was that each parking row ended in a dead end, so if it is busy (which it was) you end up driving down to the end to see if there are any spaces, and then have to reverse out again when they are all full. In addition the signage at the entrance to the gold car park was not very clear. But much better than doing a park and ride system. Entry/exit system straightforward too.

The big problem was that on arrival it was very difficult to find anywhere to park, which wasn't helped by cars parked illegally, meaning you had to reverse to get out. Somebody should have been on site directing cars to the limited available spaces. It took me 15 minutes to find a space.

Entry and exit easy. The short term carpark however is in poor condition and mostly just gravel.

The short stay car park was closed as it was full, meaning we had to park in the medium stay car park. This was a little inconvenient, but the bus service was good and we had 30 minutes free.

Having booked on line and followed the instructions I found upon attempting to exit that the barrier would not lift as it was demanding £72 for an over-stay. I had been parked for about 30 hours. I pressed the button and the person I spoke to asked for my reference number which, luckily, i had to hand. He then opened the barrier BUT a queue had formed behind me as one of the other barriers was having a problem too. Clearly the technology isn't working correctly,. Meanwhile, my sister used the VIP parking service which was excellent. She had a flat tyre and the people helped her pump it up. They were awesome,

Booking was easy, getting in and parked was easy, getting out not so easy! Used the short stay having pre-booked but number plate recognition system did not work (and not for the first time) so had to queue to get out the barrier along with several other drivers who appeared to have a similar problem.
