As normal, the ticket didn't work on exit and I had to ring through and quote my booking reference - so make sure you have it to hand and not in your case!

Yet more improvement in signposting to the car park would be helpful. The area is inundated with notices and newcomers have a hard task in picking through all the messages. Procedures at entry point could be better displayed on boards with large lettering. But the bus service is always pretty good in our experience. Drivers are halpful and place feels secure enough.

Well signposted, no waiting for the shuttle bus in either direction (bear in mind I've only used the car park once). I would award a better score if the car park surfacing was of better quality - I carried my wheeled suitcase rather than pulling it, which wouldn't be an easy option for some users.

What's the point of pre booking if the barriers aren't connected to the system? 4 cars in front of mine had the same problem. They have to call assistance and give then their booking reference. It took about 10 minutes to leave the car park. It's ridiculous.

I think the pre booked parking need to have clear sign and entranc . Also the parking is in desperet needs of tarmacing the ground is in a bad shap with holes and poodle . I was shocked to see that. ! Thank you

Served its purpose. Lighting not terribly good when you collect your car at night. Don't like the fact that the disabled bus stop is only serviced if you press the button. What is the point of that - the bus has to pass by anyway.

The car reg was not automatically read for pre booked parking and on exiting was waiting 5 mins+ just to speak to someone. Shuttle service was perfect on both days.

It would be nice to see Luton Airport investing some of the fortune that they make on the car park - and the £2 drop off zone - on resurfacing the short stay car park. It is in a disgusting state, with water filled craters and unmarked bays. Maybe they could even bring it into the 21st century by having signage that tells you where the spaces are. Then it would be truly worth the premium!

I was forced to cancel my trip due to a family emergency. This was easy to do and the charge was refunded promptly and without hassle. However I then received an e-mail with the subject line "Welcome home – how was your parking experience?" As is so often the case, the service itself is fine - we've used Luton Airport parking many times and been happy with it - but the customer feedback experience is woefully lacking. It's a shame you can't give feedback on the feedback process. :)

Pretty expensive for a gravel carpark with no marked bays and cars parked in all manner of wrong.

I have arrived back to Luton in the dark when it was raining; due to the number of people already waiting for the bus I did not have room under the rain shelter and I got socked. The car park is quite poorly lit the bus drop off stops are not visible from the bus in the dark. The number plate recognition system incorrectly identified my car at entry (and printed the wrong number plate on my ticket) When exiting the car park the machine wanted to charge me the full drive in fee for the pre-paid parking; pressing the help/ call button was not picked up by an operator for over 2 minutes - creating a queue behind me of angry drivers beeping the car horns.

Allows double bookings and refunds are impossible to get back. Contact with anyone is incredibly difficult too. When booking, make sure you check all the booking details thoroughly as mistakes are very painful to rectify (if at all).

Good value pre-booking short stay parking for 3 day business trip to Scotland. Experience let down by failure of auto recognition on entry to car parking resulting in frustrating delay on exit. Short stay carpark would also benefit from re-surfacing and better bay marking...

Car parking was ok. The ticket machine on exit was working this morning! Normally I have to get through to someone via the buzzer to open the barrier. I always prepay for parking however the cameras don't recognise the car reg plate and then when I put in the ticket, I normally get a notice that £108 or some such figure is due for payment! The first time this happened, I paid it! My mother was dying of cancer in Ireland and I was travelling weekly. I didnt get round to querying it - just let it go. It does get a bit irritating when it happens each time - however one of the parking staff in the office explained that the camera was not recognising the reg plate. Apart from that - all good. I like the short term parking, it is really helpful to me when travelling so much. It's great now that there is not a huge queue going into the car park. Thank you Warmest regards Helen Forbes
