I'm not an overly experienced cook, so there is no way I would try Beef Wellington. I had planned on preparing Beef Wellington for New Year's Eve dinner. “I have ordered appetizers from MacKenzie on many occasions & have always been pleased with the quality. They certainly make entertaining easy & elegant. Most items can be heated up in 20 minutes. I try to keep several appetizers in my freezer so that I'm prepared for unexpected guests.”

The items not only arrived on time but a day earlier than anticipated giving the hostess an extra breath to get organized. The hostess chose the "Bunch Collection" for the assorted items. I chose and added the "Mini Crab Cakes" as a surprise to the order. The hostess and guests reported everything was very delicious. It was a great idea for a special occasion with house guests. However, the "sauce" for the vanilla-bourbon lollipop bacon packet was damaged and leaked out of the packing box into my refrigerator. What a mess, but it smelled great. I'm sorry I missed the opportunity to taste it.”
“Ive ordered before and loved the beef wellington and ice cream. However the stuffed fish was terrible. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend or purchase this item again and threw away four out of the six pieces. Potatoes were delish too.”
“The 2lb salmon arrived a week earlier than requested with a large tear in the packaging. I applied Saran Wrap to help preserve the quality for the week. The result was an "ok" salmon, definitely not what I'm used to from Mackenzie (especially considering the cost). I will think twice about ordering next time.”
