“All of the food items I ordered were delicious and different. These food items are restaurant quality and everybody enjoyed and commented how good everything was. The issue I had was the cost of the food and shipping. An example is the Carrot Cake which was listed at $72.95 and standard delivery of $18.95. The food is delicious and I will continue to order more but maybe not as much.”

“Although more expensive than homemade (partly attributable to shipping costs), it is doubtful that I would ever make some of the items we have enjoyed from Mackenzie Ltd over the years. We enjoy having some of our favorite items in our freezer for special occasions and entertaining. They are always a hit and so delicious. Our favorites include the mushroom tarts and beef Wellington. We think of it as the equivalent of dining out, plus we enjoy trying different food dishes offered. The food comes packaged in a styrofoam box inside a cardboard container, kept frozen by dry ice. We live in Florida and our deliveries have always arrived frozen, but they are perishable so should be placed in freezer promptly upon receipt.”

“I ordered the Seafood Sampler, and received three delicious soups. The Maryland Crab Soup tasted like it had just been caught, so fresh and wonderful. Then I had the Lobster Bisque, and it was just as tasty.
The Oyster Stew was wonderful also. So I have ordered a whole meal from Mackenzie. I look forward to having that for my Thanksgiving dinner. My Husband passed away early this year, so I am not going to cook like I usually do. I count on Mackenzie for my feast.”
