“I had ordered short ribs and manicotti in mushroom cream sauce. I didn’t find any short ribs, only a puréed food item. If it was some form of meat, it was in a soup consistency.”

The smoked salmon would not separate, it was tough and virtually impossible to eat. The potatoes were so loaded with cream that they were also almost impossible to
Eat. The salmon fonts were so thin, that they quickly dried out and were flavorless. spent $630 for the food I ordered. It was a HUGE disappointment.
Last year, the food was good, this year, is the last time I’ll order from them.”
“I received cheddar and chive rolls for tonight's dinner Upon opening the box the rolls had mold all over them. This's the first time I have had a problem with any of the food I ordered. I'm hesitant to order again through you because of that and the length of time it takes to get the items.”
“Your products are very good. Your packaging and packing are disappointing. The flimsy plastic containers of soup get damaged as they are tossed around in the shipping box. Last two shipments had damaged containers and I had to pick plastic pieces out of my heated soup. The dry ice is necessary and keeps the product frozen but it also makes the plastic containers brittle and are cracked as the box is tossed around during shipment. Better packaging would help.”

“I purchased a dinner for 2 for some friends. It was a gift, a surprise. It arrived with nothing on the box to indicate perishable and spoiled. After 3 phone calls to the company, they did replace but said it was MY fault for not telling the friends it was perishable, and this was a one time only replacement. Horrible service, huge disappointment”
“Very disappointed. Most of the sides were good and enjoyable, but the turkey was inedible. It was properly defrosted in the fridge but did not cook the way it was supposed to. The turkey looked suspicious when we unwrapped it. We started with the 75 minutes but when we cut inside the turkey was raw. We tried cooking longer but it still was not cooked....very reddish/pinkish inside. We finally cut slices and microwaved it. By that point there was no taste to it so we just ate the sides. The toffee cake was a huge success!!
I would recommend Impromptu Gourmet to friends as, other than this meal, I have always been pleased with anything I have ordered.”
