“I purchased Chesapeake appetizers for my siblings for Christmas. I had never had Chesapeake products myself, so I was a little nervous. I wanted the product to show up looking delicious and appetizing. Both my siblings called to thank me for the beautiful goodies! My brother cooked up the quiche, the bourbon bacon and the spanakopitas for Christmas morning and sent pictures. He said it was all so delicious!! I was thrilled and Chesapeake Bay will now be on my yearly (if not more), gift giving!”
“Of the two orders recently, one was great (Smith Island cake) but the other was good, just not great. The salmon was great and shrimp and grits bites were good. The crab cakes were not as good although they were certainly edible. Let me put it this way, the people who don't eat crab cakes much thought they were great but those who know the difference considered yours inferior. Sorry to say but good to know.”

We had purchased 2 2lb sides of Scottish smoked salmon as we have done every holiday season for the last 6 years- unfortunately, one packaging had the vacuum packaging breached (hole in the package) and was not useable. After calling customer service and explaining the issue, A replacement was sent immediately. Thank you for Great customer service!”

“Ordering food was easy, getting the food was painless (although it would be nicer to have more than a whole week time frame for possible delivery since its products that need to be kept cold), but the cooking times on almost all products me and my family have received (different ovens in different homes) have all been under the time actually needed to cook. I’ve had to add 20-30 minutes cook time to most dishes which is unreal! I love the taste of the food though.”
“Re pork shank dinner --spanakopita appetizer tasted mostly of salt & bitter spinach with little feta * the pork shanks were markedly different in size which made for poor presentation. However did gift Schnitzel dinner to relatives & they were delighted so 4 stars seems appropriate rating.”
“Crabcakes were delivered without the note that I wrote and is on my receipt. The recipient was afraid to eat them without knowing who sent them. I waited a couple of days to check with them because I didn't want to appear pushy. At the same time, my sister ordered two items as a gift to me and only one was delivered. She had to wait a couple of days for a supervisor to review the request for a replacement. The items are very good, but service was somewhat lacking.”
“The food was absolutely delicious! Great variety, clear and easy preparation instructions, and quantities sufficient for even the biggest appetite. Only concern was when the items were shipped and the refrigeration needed to keep everything frozen. In the future , order earlier and specify an exact delivery date.”
