“For the first time, MacKenzie Limited has made a mistake with an order of mine. A flourless chocolate torte was to be delivered to my brother's home (Paul Gricus, 22 Union Street, Jamestown, Rhode Island 02835) arriving shortly before December 14, 2023, which we all were anticipating. Instead, a chocolate layer cake was delivered and not the torte. We were all somewhat disappointed that it wasn't the torte.”

“Ordered the rolled stuffed turkey breast en croute and the prime rib roast for Christmas dinner. Followed ALL instructions for both to the letter. The turkey was a hit - absolutely yummy! The "prime" rib was practically inedible and not appropriate to be called "prime" or even "choice." It was tough and grisly and embarrassing to serve.”
“My purchase was for a gift for someone else and not for me so I actually did not get to taste any of your products. However the recipient of my gift loved the lemon cake I ordered and we're over the moon as to it's wonderful flavor and freshness. So in their words I think it was a success!
I cannot comment on the Granny Smith cake as they had not eaten any of that when I spoke to them. But if it's anything like the lemon cake I'm sure they will rave about its delicious flavor.”

“We would have enjoyed our beef wellington more if we hadn't overcooked them. We followed the directions on the package for medium rare and got well done. It was still edible, but not what we wanted. Directions need to be adjusted.”
“Regarding our 2023 end of year holiday season order, all good EXCEPT the Chateaubriand was excessively "chewy" as reported by our family and guests. Meaning that we all had to chew, chew and then chew some more. Was not like this for our 2022 order. Perhaps Mackenzie changed suppliers? This item was simply not acceptable.
Unfortunately, a disappointment for all.”
