I followed instructions TO THE LETTER, and it turned out SOUPY. Pretty awful, not to mention embarrassing since we had company over Thanksgiving.
I have not used the 2nd one and inquired regarding return and refund but it was declined.

“The food was delivered on time and safely packed with dry ice, so that part was excellent. The wild mushroom tarts and stuffed turkey turned out great! The rice in the butternut squash risotto wasn't cooked enough before being formed into the individual servings because after cooking to temp, there were many hard grains remaining and it was unpleasant to eat. The gateau basque tasted good, but following the cooking instructions to the letter meant it was severely undercooked, at least for me; the intended final result was not included in the instructions, such as "cook until center only slightly jiggles" or something like that. Mine ended up set very little, which made it impossible to slice and serve as anything other than a pile of pudding. Very disappointing to find out only as I attempted to lift a slice out of the pan.”
