“Served this at a group dinner. It was most tasty and some asked for the “recipe.” I admitted that it was mail order. The only thing that might have made this a bit better would have been some gravy.”

“My order arrived the day AFTER I was told it would be delivered. The ice was almost gone. I ordered the soup sampler but received two Lobster Bisque soups but NO Maryland Crab soup! While my husband will enjoy the bisque he would have liked to try your Maryland Crab soup I'm sure! I promptly put the order in our freezer, but have not tried anything yet because it was his Christmas gift! CB did try to contact me, but due to a communications snafu we were NEVER able to connect. Now, for some reason I cannot find how to contact CB directly! *SIGH*”
“In past years, I have loved your petit fours. They were the same year after year, same exact look and flavors. This year, they looked and tasted different — they were a little smaller, the cake and frosting were softer and insubstantial, and they had no real flavor — they just tasted like sugar — and regardless of color, they all tasted the same. (Previously, the cake was rich and dense and some of the petit fours had slight raspberry taste and others had a mint flavor. And the dark chocolate and white icing had distinct flavors, too.) I bought two boxes and threw away the second box after eating some of the first. I assumed you made the petit fours, but am now wondering if you buy them from another vendor and switched vendors this year. Unless you tell me you are switching back, I won’t be buying them again. Sorry to write such a negative review, but you sent me an email asking me to write one, so I am taking the time to provide this honest feedback.”
“The food is always wonderful and I’ve recommended you to friends, but I truly dislike that you ship immediately when I’ve requested a later date to arrive just prior to an event. Why do you offer shipping schedules if you don’t intend to follow them?”

“Living in Minnesota, I had the desire for the Eastern US tastes for my Holiday season. I liked the variety, sizes, and packaging that fit in my apartment sized refrigerator/freezer. They arrived in perfect condition. Shipped when stated. Nice to have the catalogue and online option for future use. Worth the cost for this treat.”
