“The cooking time was not close to being accurate. The lasagne was supposed to be ready after 50 minutes, yet the top center was still frozen. I cooked it another 10 minutes and the top center was slushy. The cheese there hadn't melted. I decided to microwave a portion so that I could eat. I found the flavor to be lacking. The tomato base needed more oregano or other spices. The cheeses were good. The quantity of lasagne was barely acceptable for the price.”
“The food was delivered on time and safely packed with dry ice, so that part was excellent. The wild mushroom tarts and stuffed turkey turned out great! The rice in the butternut squash risotto wasn't cooked enough before being formed into the individual servings because after cooking to temp, there were many hard grains remaining and it was unpleasant to eat. The gateau basque tasted good, but following the cooking instructions to the letter meant it was severely undercooked, at least for me; the intended final result was not included in the instructions, such as "cook until center only slightly jiggles" or something like that. Mine ended up set very little, which made it impossible to slice and serve as anything other than a pile of pudding. Very disappointing to find out only as I attempted to lift a slice out of the pan.”
“Special instructions; I needed the stuffed breast Delivered by Tuesday November 21st, apparently whoever reads INSTRUCTIONS didn't get the memo, as they were delivered on Wednesday November 22nd. Maybe now for Christmas. Can't evaluate the quality of the product as I haven't tasted it.”
“Just ok icing is too sweet I think, and when it arrived the plastic was cut half off the cake and the seal on the actual cake box was cut. But i said a prayer and served for Thanksgiving.”
“We ordered the fully cooked turkey. Followed the instructions....thawed and then cooked for 75 minutes. Took it out to set and heated the beans and my other sides. When. We started carving the turkey it was not cooked enough. Took out all of the sides and had to cook the turkey another 50 minutes! Finally it was done to our liking. Did not like the bean casserole at all. What a shame...”
“Stuffed mushroom casserole was watery. Lobster mac was good but lacked Lobster. The cranberry sausage stuffing was very good. Overall products are Extremely overpriced and serving sizes misrepresented.”
“The turkey en croute did not have much turkey at all. What was there was good though. And this item certainly would not feed more than 4 people small servings. Probably in all likelihood would not order again.”
