“We were very disappointed. The beef was not tender.
The website implied that it is a half pound steak but the weight is actually the entire beef Wellington.
Will not buy again.”
“My order was not delivered as noted but that was resolved quickly. The cheesecake was Devine. We did not care for the crab pie. I expected a cheesy sauce inside like a chicken pot pie, but it was dry. Like eating crab meat in a pie crust.”
“Got the lemon cake and will now order it EVERY YEAR! Delicious, beautiful and so easy. Just wish it weren’t pre-sliced with parchment paper between slices; so obviously store-bought. I mean, we can slice it ourselves.”
“I ordered the mini beef wellingtons, bread pudding, soup trio and cookies.
The beef wellington was a bit hit at our holiday party.
All of the items I ordered were great quality, easy to prepare and so delicous.
I would have given 5 stars but the holiday cookies were very underwhelming. They were really dry and not very favorable.”
“As soon as a gift it arrived during a busy Christmas season as planned my 85-year-old mom was delighted to have the food so I will definitely use them again in the future”
“arrived quickly; had many entrees and had to read prep instructions because some had to be thawed and some did not. Ate the Kobe Beef meatloaf and broc & cauliflower truffle souffle--outstanding!! Beef Wellington a bit doughy; flavor was just OK. Looking forward to trying the mussels.”
“An extravagance I will not repeat. Undoubtedly being a good cook, I expected more. Feeling lazy is my excuse! However, for at least more than half the cost, next year I will do it myself.”
“Ordered the Brie & Raspberry En Croute for our Christmas brunch. They arrived on time, the preparation instructions were easily followed, and the product was tasty. The price for the product was reasonable, however when shipping cost was added, the median price per appetizer was nearly $3.75! A bit pricy.”
“The first item we tried, was horrible. I mean literally the worst tasting appetizer I have ever put in my mouth - the chicken dijon croissants. So bad that I was afraid to even serve any of the other items I ordered on Christmas which is what they were intended for. On New Year's day we tried the Mini Tropezienne. Mind you, it was just me and my husband, not a gathering. They were just "ok". Next I will prepare the Peach BBQ brisket bites. I sent a note to customer service about the chicken dijon croissants and was offered 20% off of another item - no thanks! First of all, your items are overpriced, but then for it to be inedible, you should've offered a refund on that item. I certainly don't mind paying a good price for something special and at the holidays, but if the next two items are at least "good" and since you didn't offer a refund on the inedible item, I will not be ordering again and I will let others know as well.”
