“I have been eating “intuitively” with clean, whole foods forever, but after 3 kids and a complete hysterectomy/surgical menopause in my mid 30s (I’m now 52), I quickly gained 15 lbs. Although I was still eating healthy foods, I had no idea that my humble bowl of chia seed pudding was packing a whopping 500 calories. At 5’1”, that was just shy of half of my calories for the day! I just bought into the inevitability of weight gain after menopause. Once I realized that I needed to start weighing and tracking foods more carefully, I bounced up and down between 117-121 lbs as I was on and off with the tracking. For years I did this! Although no one would ever look at me (clothed, at least!!) and say I needed to lose weight, I was fluffy, and I didn’t like the way my clothes were fitting me. I also knew I needed to get serious about resistance training for longevity/health purposes, and I could not seem to stick to that at all, mostly because I’d rather stick a fork in my eye than lift weights. I’ve considered coaching for a long time. My excuses were “it’s too much money, I just need to be more disciplined on my own” and “I don’t have much to lose, I should be able to do it without one.” I’ve tried having friends and family be my accountability partners, but let’s be honest; they don’t want to stick to their own programs, so they’re more than happy to watch you get off track, too. I finally realized that nothing is going to change if I don’t do something radically different. So, I got the coach. Krista was great; she was nice and encouraging, but she also called me out on my excuses. The fact that I was paying for this and didn’t want to seem like a quitter to her kept me going when I know I would have stopped had I not been accountable to someone. Yes, it cost money, but I blow much more money on other, less important things all the time. I am now 11 lbs lighter, so much stronger, and a bit “tighter” for that money, and it could not have been better spent. Get the coach and invest in yourselves; I could not be happier!”

“I was on the fence about coaching for a long time. I was convinced that I could do everything for myself that a coach could do for me. Except, I lacked one thing and that was accountability. I really really struggled holding myself accountable and often used the "one day won't hurt" "one bad day won't make a difference", that mindset always left me spiraling and over eating for weeks at a time. Before I started coaching I lost some weight but had no idea how to maintain it. I gained every pound plus some back when I was stressed with school.
Working with my coach for the last 6 months has been so rewarding! I lost the weight again and reached my goal (a stepping stone to my overall goal) and along the way I developed some great habits and have seen a huge improvement in my relationship with food and exercise. I don't workout to punish myself, I workout because I enjoy it. I enjoy foods without the guilt that came with eating them before. I feel more in control and have a much better understanding of what my body needs to feel it's best. I had almost given up on all of my goals because they were hard to achieve. Along the way though I've learned that loss is loss, even if the progress is slow. I'm thrilled with my 15lb loss because I have seen so much progress in other areas as well! I'm stronger in the gym, I have more endurance for cadio, my clothes are looser, and I have felt so much better since focusing on my nutrition. I can't wait to continue this journey in the new year!”

“Working with Tessa has been amazing I’ve learned so much in the past month I’ve been with her. She’ always gets back to me super fast if not the same day the next morning. She sends me videos and texts explaining and always encouraging me. We do get a ton of free info in the macro Inc group and it’s amazing but coaching it’s a next layer that’ kept me pushing me to do better because I knew I had someone I had to be accountable to. I have to take a break to get some affair in orders but as soon as I have some money I can allocate to myself I’m coming right back to coaching and I want to get the full coaching when I get back! “I signed up with Macros Inc, because I had an unhealthy relationship with food. I had counted macros for 7 years, but had turned more towards restrictive eating. I needed help to get me back to a place where I could be comfortable. I was paired with Coach Colt. We had our video conferece call and I instantly knew that he understood exactly what I needed and where I wanted to end up.
Colt slowly moved me to maintenance. It was a struggle to see a slight spike in the scale, but Colt talked me through my anxiousness every step of the way. Trusting him, the process, and myself, was what I needed to get to my end goal of maintenance with strength gains.
