“The selling platform itself is really easy to use and there are lots of resources to help you set up your store. But what makes MadeIt special is the new owner (Leina Broughton) and a team of makers who help everything run smoothly! You don’t just get access to a selling platform, you become part of a community of makers who just want everyone to succeed. There are weekly tips and tricks videos and insights into running your small business that I wouldn’t have found at other large selling platforms where you’re simply a number. The subscription pricing levels are very reasonable and I’m really enjoying being part of this fantastic collective of artisans, artists and makers. Do yourself a favour and join up!”

“Merry-Go-Round has been a Madeit a seller on Madeit since 2011. Madeit is certainly the home of handmade but also the heart & soul of craft for sellers & buyers. I have also loved the fact the Madeit is Australian owned, with only Australian sellers. I've also purchased on Madeit many times, it's an online platform that is easy to use. I highly recommend Madeit.”

“Owner Leina has developed a platform that is easy to use, with the added benefit of a champion support team. The business knowledge shared, in addition to the camaraderie, encouragement and friendly interactions with fellow makers really cements just how marvelous this all-Australian handmade community is! Knowing that, as a seller, I not only have support from fellow Australian small business owners and makers, but am able to support them in turn with purchases, is especially gratifiying. “The energy that the owner, Leina brings to this platform is infectious and encouraging for small artisan business owners. Within the first few months after the MadeIt marketplace was relaunched, I had already exceeded the income of the previous years, which was encouraging to me as a creative maker. I especially appreciate the efforts of Leina and her team to invest her time into providing tips, training and support to small artisan businesses and being transparent about how the platform is performing and where it is heading through regular email updates and online live sessions.”

“The trick to selling online is to be consistent. With Madeit, they have a hub of resources available and their support via Facebook and email is always helpful and quick. Leina and the ladies seem to always be available to assist with any queries, questions and mostly with tips and tricks to keep you focused and driven. Handmade is a 24/7 job, no doubt about that, so shop local on Madeit and support Australia Made, and the Madeit Team.”

“I've been a seller on Madeit since October 2023 (Cork and Cotton Creations) and would highly recommend this platform to anyone wanting to sell their handmade goods online. Leina Broughton and her team are passionate about spreading the word on the benefits and uniqueness of handmade articles, and the importance of buying handmade. As a seller on Madeit, I have access to weekly tips and updates from Leina, which not only keep me informed about updates to the platform, but also tips and suggestions on how to improve my sales and increase traffic to my site. There is also a private sellers Facebook group, where sellers can go to to ask questions or interact with each other. I'm very glad I am a member of Madeit, and would highly recommended it to other artisans and shoppers.”
