I recently needed some telemarketing work done for my business and finding an agency to do it was a breeze using Marketing Quotes.

It works pretty well. Good leads get bought fast, but I guess that's what you'd expect!

I've now outsourced my PPC to an agency that I found on Marketing Quotes, after previously working on it in-house, and I've seen results improve quite considerably. Very happy.

Some leads can be very competitive to buy, but are worth the effort. What's good is that most clients tend to know exactly what they want, which makes our job easier.

Got myself a decent website designer off the back of using Marketing Quotes, so I'd say it works pretty well.

Quality of agency responses to my brief varied but the service worked okay overall

As a small business owner I sometimes struggle to find the time or don’t even know who to contact when I need to outsource work and I found Marketing Quotes a useful tool to assist with this.

Great service. Used it to find my current web design agency, and will probably use it again soon to get some SEO work done.

I only received 3 quotes in the end, but one of them was really good.

I was finding it difficult to choose an SEO agency until I found Marketing Quotes, which made the whole process a lot easier. The responses I got after filling in the form were really positive - particularly one, and I've now decided to work with them. I'd recommend giving it a go if you're looking for any marketing.

I am a free-lance web designer, and find it really useful being signed up to marketing quotes. I get emailed when local businesses need my help - if I fancy the work then I buy the lead and send them a response, if not then I just leave it. An easy way to get new business, would recommend other marketing/design agencies sign up!

I run a small bakery and needed an exhibition stand for a local cake show. I had no idea where to find a suitable company, so I put my details & requirements on the marketing quotes site and pressed send. Within 48 hours I had proposals from a few different companies in the local area who could design me a stand. I chose one which was the right price & quality and ended up getting lots of business from the show!!

Yep. It did a job. I needed a freelance PR person to help with a startup business I'm working on. I only got three quotes (I think the site said I'd get 5) but two of them were pretty good and the girl I'm working with now seems on the ball, reasonably priced and local too.

I have applied for several of these leads, but not had any business. I think some of them are posted when the client does not know what they want.

We were sent info on a lead - so bought credits. This lead was immediately unavailable. Tried calling to query but couldn't get an answer. I've since used that credit to buy two leads from the website. Both were unavailable. Upon tried again, the first lead explained that it was not a genuine opportunity to do business - just getting further quotes for funding. The second lead is still not answering the phone. I would suggest these guys get their act together and refund, or find real leads before anyone pays them again.

Seeing a description about each lead before you need to pay for it is very useful as you can decide if it is the right sort of opportunity for you.

A flaw in the system is that agencies (such as myself) do not receive notifications of new leads until approximately 10 days after they have been posted. (On 30th Sept I received notification of a job in Tranet - posted 20th Sept, and a job in Milton Keynes was notified similarly late.) This is unfortunate for both the agent and the advertiser, and is particularly ironic in view of the fact that the notification email suggests getting in touch as soon as possible to avoid losing the opportunity to bid. I would also like to see more transparency into the reason why some jobs are priced at 10 credits, and others are priced at 20 credits. This seems arbitrary Nevertheless, a helpful system Miles Reid Proprietor Clarity Web Design http://claritywebdesign.co.uk

Hi Miles, Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately we recently experienced some issues with our hosting and server, which was causing a delay in the sending of the notification emails. This should be resolved now and will mean you’ll receive lead notifications far quicker. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. With regards to the pricing of leads, this is based on the value of the lead following a phone call which I make to the quote requester. Once I know the project they’re looking for a quote on, and the value of this, I price the lead accordingly. Hope this information is useful. Regards, Marketing Quotes Support

It's OK. Never very many leads and the good ones go quickly and the poor ones kick around in the leads area for months. It needs quantity and quality of leads to be good. Only bought one lead and the guy then decided he wasn't ready and it went on hold. Just became a £40 email contact. The site itself doesn't feel very inviting and creative, which might be why it doesn't attract as many marketing leads as it should. Comes across more like a business template.

Hi Robyn, Thank you for your feedback. Sorry to hear that you’ve had trouble being able to purchase the leads that you’d most like to buy. I do assess the quality of a lead before publishing it on the site, by calling the quote requester personally, although I’m sorry that a lead you purchased pulled out of working with you. I’m also looking into cleaning up older leads more quickly, so that these don’t still appear on the site. Regards, Marketing Quotes Support

Hi Simon, Unfortunately we recently experienced some issues with our hosting and server, which was causing a delay in the sending of notification emails to our agency database. This would be why you didn’t hear from anyone as soon as you’d expect, although this should be resolved now. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Regards, Marketing Quotes Support
