“Horrendous Experience. Filthy, cockroach infested property, oven/hob broken, dirty pool, dirty carpets, generally dirty all round, WiFi doesn’t work, a property that was described as luxury, but I wouldn’t house my dog in it.
What made the experience worse was the complete lack of care from Master Vacation Homes, who promise to fix issues constantly but never do. Most of the customer service seems automated, as whatever they promise never happens.
The customer service is complete joke, I’d avoid any home rented by these complete jokers at any cost. It seems many customers have experienced the same poor level of property and service.”
“I would strongly caution anyone booking a property managed by this company.
Our experience has been extremely disappointing, primarily due to poor communication, lack of accountability, and failure to address serious issues during an active stay.
From the beginning, the property had multiple problems—including safety concerns, broken furniture, non-functioning amenities, and overall poor maintenance. However, what made the situation significantly worse was the complete lack of responsiveness from the management team.
We requested multiple times for someone to call us, and no one ever did. We were also told that someone would come to the property on 4/6 to address the issues, and no one showed up. This level of disregard for guests—especially when safety concerns are involved—is completely unacceptable.
Instead of proactive service or urgency, we were left to deal with these issues on our own while actively staying in the home. There was no sense of ownership, no follow-through, and no meaningful effort to resolve the problems.
A property management company should ensure that homes are:
• Properly maintained
• Safe for guests
• Accurately represented
• And supported with responsive, reliable communication
Unfortunately, this experience failed on all fronts.
Until this company improves its responsiveness, quality control, and overall guest support, I would not recommend booking any property under their management.”
“We will never use Master Vacation Homes again. Our townhome on Kissimmee at Storey Lake was poorly furnished and woefully under supplied for a group of 6, while they advertise for up to 14 guests. Our pool was gray and unheated at first, then turned green when the heat was finally turned on. It was unusable for our entire trip, and they refused to refund our heating charges. Our dishwasher was unusable, and their inept maintenance crew couldn’t fix it. They are quick to reply that “your input is important…” but funneled all communication into Airbnb’s email threads, and hid behind that firewall.”
“I left items in a drawer in the home a month ago. I contacted them immediately after I got home to let them know. I've been contacting them nonstop over the past month with very little in the way of response. Only that they're contacting their cleaning crew. I emailed again since it's been exactly a month. Today, they say the items were not found. I find that highly suspicious. I gave the exact room and drawer location. I know the items were left. I was the only one in that room. I've been given the runaround for a month now and the response is just "we're not responsible". This is not customer service! Not once did the company reach out to me after my repeated requests. I had to continue to follow up and follow up. Extremely disappointed in this company!”
“BE AWARE!!! If you forget something at the property you will NOT get it back! The cleaning crew are THIEVES!!! Our family rented one of their properties Feb 27-29/26. We left a garment bag with clothes in one of the closets. As we were leaving, we were still in the driveway, the cleaning lady drove up. 2 hours later we realized we forgot the bag. We immediately called the administration to let them know. They were not helpful and very indifferent to our situation. The bag was there when the cleaning lady parked her car next to us. The bag just doesn’t “disappear”. Because of their lack of customer service we will never stay there again.”
“The communications after booking were very hospitable and made the positive experience begin before we even arrived. The pictures do not do the space justice. It's much nicer than the photographs reflect. The unit was spotless. The extra touches of snacks and having a fully equipped kitchen allowd us to make our morning smoothies and nightly teas.
Business trip and didn't want to stay in the big commecial hotel so this was a roomy, homey and much better alternative!”
“The house itself was nice, but the overall experience was infuriating. On January 3rd 2026, when we were checking out, two of our bags were misplaced on the property while they were on the driveway, which completely ruined our stay. We rechecked the house multiple times and there were absolutely no bags inside, so they did not simply go missing. The cleaning staff’s car was parked directly behind ours while we were loading the bags and after the car left, we could no longer find our bags. This raised serious concerns for us. We immediately contacted the administration, expecting at least basic support, but instead we were met with total indifference. They showed no concern, offered no help and took no responsibility whatsoever. To make things even worse, there were no towels provided for the pools, adding yet another unnecessary frustration. The lack of accountability and terrible customer service from their team was unacceptable. Because of how this situation was handled, we would never stay here again. Master Vacation Homes, do better.”
“The home was everything they promised in the description and more. Very easy to check in. From the game room to the movie theater even the adults found some games that we like to play. There’s enough space for everyone to relax and have peace and quiet or for us to all gather together. The home has everything you need to get the perfect vacation started.”
