“The staff are friendly, helpful and thoroughly professional. If they couldn't give you the answer there and then, they said so and went off to find out. All replies were well within the site's specified time limits and often surprising quick. No hesitation in recommending you to friends and family.”

Hi John, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that your recent order was received with a damaged cistern lid. We have experienced a few technical issues when a IT system was upgraded, . A replacement was re-ordered on Monday 8th June. This has been confirmed as being packed by our suppliers and due for delivery from Thursday 11th June onwards. I will ensure that the tracking information is forwarded onto you. I am extremely sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused you and your customer. “The vanity basin and concealed cistern toilet unit look great. The gloss units are very smart. The toilet unit was damaged but fortunately the damage was only at an area that once fitted was hidden so we did not make an issue of it. Good customer service at Matalan direct on order and delivery information.”

“The bathroom cupboard I ordered was just what I wanted and I was very pleased with it initially. However there was a slight problem with one of the doors. The customer service department decided a replacement was the best option as it was to a rather remote part of Scotland. I was kept in in the loop of the replacement process at all times, and I am impressed with the attentiveness of the staff, David Starr in particular, and would not hesitate to recommend the products and customer care. “Pleasantly surprised. After doing a lot of online research Matalan Direct seemed to have a good range at very reasonable prices. I was a bit skeptical when ordering our shower as I would normally go for a well known brand, but the shower from Matalan Direct is just as good and for a fraction of the price. Our delivery was unfortunately split in to two - but the customer service agent was very helpful when I rang and in the second half of the order was delivered the following day, so it wasn't too much of an issue. Good quality products and great prices - I would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to use Matalan again.”

“Very quick service, hadn't ordered the correct item so were very helpful in advising what we did need. Slightly disappointed that the collection of the incorrect item has to wait 2 weeks and therefore the refund as well. Ordered the correct item, just waiting on delivery now.”
