“For the price you would be hard to beat the quality is first class ,the fitting couldn't be easier took me half an hour, kids stuff , the delivery was a one , packaged extremely well , very pleased”

“I am absolutely disgusted with Matalan direct tried to order dining table but apparently if you live in Scotland you are in a remote region and delivery charge will be £72.00 needless to say didn't order it”

Hello Mrs Dougal,Thanks for your message. I appreciate your concern regarding our current remote area delivery costs. Although we are aware that Scotland is not ordinarily classed as a remote area we are bound by the cost attributed to your area by our current logistics infrastructure . We review our logistics operation on week to week basis and I'm sure it wont be long before we are able to offer much more competitive rates for all of our delivery methods in all parts of the UK. “We are pleased with our recent purchase of dining chairs from Matalan. However chairs were difficult to assemble as the screw holes were not that well aligned on two of the chairs.”

“Nantucket bedroom furniture is worth every penny! Looks fabulous and very solid. Put together over a weekend. One slight piece of damage on drawer but as this was towards the back it is not visible. Would definitely buy from Catalan again.”

It is unfortunate to hear that you wish to return your items, Unfortunately we do charge a small collection fee when returning items due to a change of mind as we don't accept returns to stores. “Ordering was very straight forward, the site was easy to navigate. I was kept informed by email when my items were dispatched. The delivery driver contacted me by phone before his arrival in order to clarify my delivery instructions. He was very professional and courteous. Overall I would be very happy to use this service again.”

“I had been looking for a pure wool bobbly type rug and the prices were just so over the top. I came across a lovely rug and ordered it on this site not knowing what to expect. Delivery was fast, the quality of the rug is great. Delighted with this product.”

“We were kept informed of our order by e-mail since day of ordering ! I was first delivery of the day which was fantastic ! I have a dining set & matching sideboard & as arrived very early, had all day to organise ! The products arrived in 4 hugh parcels - very well packaged with no damage in transit & still had time to clean up the room, take packaging to recycling & polystyrene to tip & the products look great ! We are very pleased with our first Matalan furniture purchases !! Thank you Matalan !!”

“I liked the pattern of the curtains and the quality however they were cut wrong! The curtains are Wonkey and became the pattern also rises on one side it enthersised the wonkeyness! Likely my partner is in the trade so packed one side to try and even it up as much as he could! But really disappointed with it! Are they not QC'ed?”

“Matalan is just my style of products, I love how modern there's stuff are and I'm always so pleased with the delivery especially the packaging, never a single scratch or smudge. I can always relay on Matalan with my fragile bits and bobs. I'm always ordering home collections for my house. Will always have Matalan at the top of my list if I ever never anything to make my house look prettier”

“Really pleased with the delivery. Expected delivery time 7am-10am. Received parcel by 7.05am. Friendly lads all the way from Yorkshire to Essex. I didn't know Matalan direct existed it was when I went online looking for a light grey blind. They were the only company that had one. Very happy with the service will use it again and have already promoted it to friends and colleagues.”

“Excellent delivery by 2 very friendly and helpful men. The bathroom cupboards are well made a look great in the bathroom. Good storage for all our bathroom needs. The laundry cupboard is great so able to sort out the laundry. The gloss finish to the cupboards give them the expensive look at a reasonable price. Cheaper than employing a professional bathroom fitting company. All can be fitted into the bathroom by a competent diy person.”
