“I placed an order for a 900 pivot shower door and received it a day earlier than stated originally, so great service and the product is quality for less than normal local suppliers. One of the handles was broken, which could not have been seen as it was inside the box and packaged up, however I e mailed Matalan immediately and they are sending a new one out. Overall I am very pleased with Matalan and will be using them again in the future and recommending them to other tradesmen that I know. Dave (DB Enterprises Property Maintenance).”

“Product good, pricing good, delivery poor, delivery driver never rang the day before as prommised so it arrived out of the blue. My customer happend to be in, i was planning to be there so we (the driver and me) could carry it inside. it was left in her driveway, she was panicing so i had to come off another job to struggle with a 52kg parcel by my self!!! Neither of us were impressed, made me look bad.”

With our pallet deliveries we do encourage our logistical partners to contact the customer 24 hours before the delivery is due. I certainly understand your frustration that this failed to happen, and resulted in you not being present for the delivery with your customer. “Having discovered the web site, I found using it very simple. It was easy to find the towel rail which had eluded me on so many other websites and at a price which was acceptable. The ordering and paying process was easy. I was very pleased with the way in which I was kept informed as to the progress of my order, and also how easy it was to arrange a convenient day for delivery. The quality of the rail appears to be very good and I expect many years of service from it.”

“Ordered on line, no problem, even over Easter bank holiday delivery was good. I did find that item appeared to look a bit ''cheap '' (Toilet cistern for concealed location) but, I did order the cheapest one of the range, so almost certainly the more expensive would look better.”

“Very pleased with this toilet seat - it has taken me quite a while to get back to you with a review, because my son has only just fitted it for me. He had a great deal of trouble getting the old seat off, but I will have no trouble with this one - top fitting loo seats every time for me now. Thank you also to David for all his help, brilliant customer service. I hadn't heard of your company before, but I won't forget it now. Many thanks again.”

“For some reason I didn't expect the hook I bought to be plastic and although I like the style and it will do exactly what I bought it for to go in our shower enclosure I think it was over priced and the delivery cost too high. I thought Id received an empty package the hook was so light.”

Hi Tony, At Matalan Direct we check our prices against other online bathroom retailers to make sure we’re competitive. We do offer a price match policy, if you find any of our products cheaper elsewhere and let us know, we’ll be more than happy to refund you the difference. We will certainly update the product details on the website to reflect that it is made from ABS plastic with a chrome finish. If you are not happy with the product quality we do offer a 90 day returns policy. This product is not usually purchased as a stand-alone product, which seems to have resulted in thinking that the delivery charge is expensive. We will certainly review our delivery pricing for smaller and lighter products. I trust you will be more than happy with your purchase.
