“After requesting what I thought would be FREE samples of blinds, I then had the inconvenience of visiting my local Royal Mail delivery office to pay an administration fee and underpaid postage on the samples.”

We recently set up our blind sample service to allow customers to get a real sense of the materials we use prior to purchasing a blind from us. “The quality and design of the products is excellent. Although the cabinet is extremely heavy. I would like to see what else I can buy from this bathroom range. It all arrived on time and in tact.”

“The product is really good and very good value. The delivery men were helpful and pleasant. However the actual process for delivery is poor. Although I should have been able to track it there was no link to where I could login to be able to do so. I received a text to say it would be with me shortly (very ambiguous) so I rang only to be told it would be a few more days. I left instructions on how to find our house explaining that the sat nav would take them elsewhere. The delivery men didn't get them. I explained that I worked in a secure area and couldn't use my mobile (the only number I could give you on your website) - again that wasn't passed on. The delivery people had been trying to phone me all day to say that they would be delivering it a day early. Luckily I arrived home just after they arrived. Your web site led me to believe that I could book a 2 hour slot but that didn't happen. When I phoned I was given a site to log onto to track the delivery but it wasn't the right one. So all in all, a good product, helpful and cheerful delivery men but backed up by an extremely poor delivery process.”

“Very old fashioned and restrictive delivery and returns process - have to sit in and wait all day! Should be able to use Matalan stores as a 'click and collect' for smaller items such as toilet seats!”

Hi Jenna, Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. We provide all our customers with a 90 days returns policy to return items. Within this timeframe, customers can return their items for a full refund, given that they’re unused and in their original packaging. If an item is unsuitable, we arrange for one of our couriers to come along to the customer's address on a convenient day and collect the item. I can see that you have spoken to one of my colleagues today, who has booked in a collection for you to take place tomorrow via our DPD collection service. DPD will contact you to confirm this and they will also send an SMS message tomorrow morning containing a 1-hour time slot for collection, to avoid interrupting your day. “After the initial hick up of two missing parts within the bath shower screen box, which was resolved by Matalan by instructing the supplier to pick the old delivery and supply a new one. All went well at the end and the product is good for the price we paid.”

“Ordered the bathroom drawers and matching laundry basket unit. They look lovely. However the drawers are quite shallow and the laundry basket holds so little that it is really only suitable for a single person. I will have to purchase another basket.There are only two of us and I do 4 -5 washloads a week”

We do offer a free 90 returns policy so if the laundry basket is still in the condition it was delivered in and you have the original packaging our couriers can come and collect this for you. “The bathroom toilet and washbasin built in units were of a very high standard, the gloss finish was excellent. Ready assembled cupboards were an added bonus.Top products!”

“The bath we ordered arrived with two men who had problems finding our home. Strange as every one else finds it easy. They were in a rush. So we were cleft to unpack the bath etc. The photo on line shows taps End of bath but there are no holes drilled in bath we have. Missing screws. Lucky we can use ones from old bath. Maybe the assembly crew had a bad day. The taps we ordered are fine. No instructions on how panels are installed husband has worked out glue is needed. We did look in another well known store to see how it was assembled. So hopefully we will be sorted in a few days time.”

Hi Pauline, Thank you for your feedback. I’m so sorry to hear that you've had this experience. As you have acknowledged, this isn’t the normal level of delivery service that we provide to our customers, however I cannot apologise enough for this. The Select Cove Shower Bath Pack is not pre-drilled, as we do not know what type of taps the customer is fitting to the bath. Unfortunately, the screws for this item are not available as a spare part but we can certainly arrange to replace the unit for you at no extra cost. “The goods were the cheapest I could find. The shower looks fab but there is a small split in one of the seals so shall be ringing for a replacement. Delivery was a bit hit and miss though, no contact from the currier so had to keep ringing, they said the left voice mails for me, but there wasn't anything on my phone! Did not receive confirmation email or ring me the night before or an hour before delivery as promised. My slot was 10 till 1 pm. Delivery arrived at 1.20 so was anxious. However I would use site again as it did arrive in the end”
