“Very disappointed. We ordered a "Dry Aged Rib of Beef - Himalayan Salt Aged - 2 RIB (Approx 2.4kg)" for Boxing Day - to be delivered on Dec 22nd together with some sausages & cured saucissons. The delivery was one day earlier than expected, fortunately not a problem. The lion's share of the order was the rib of beef. By Boxing Day the smell from the uncooked joint (which had been stored in a fridge) was unbearable & the exposed sides of flesh were slimy. Before throwing it away I weighed it. Just a touch over 2kg. So I wasted £46 on an underweight fetid piece of meat. Needless to say I won't be ordering again & would advise anyone else to think twice.””

“Fantastic! Ordered a 2 rib beef joint and a free range chicken for Christmas. Delivery was on time as promised. Joints were vacuum packed and delivered chilled in a cool box. Quality wise, the beef was absolutely stunning! I doubt I'll ever buy a special occasion joint from a supermarket again. Just no comparison. The chicken was great too, but the beef was out of this world. Not the cheapest purchase I've ever made at around £65 for both (I think about £57 was the beef). That said, I wouldn't hesitate to spend that again as it provided a gorgeous centrepiece for a meal that fed 7 people easily and had ample leftovers to feed us all again.. Overall... Delivery: Great Quality: Perfect, stunning beef. Value: Fantastic, considering the quality and quantity. Can't recommend these guys highly enough, we took a gamble on them and they made our Christmas.”

“Actually the box was battered and the ice bags completely defrosted and the package was warm. Despite the fact it was a day early. Put the beef straight in the freezer so can’t tell you about the meat! I’m keeping my fingers crossed!”

“Ordered a boned and rolled turkey for Christmas, delivery was a couple of days before Christmas with good communication and the meat was lovely, moist for a turkey! Will now look to order my regular meat from Meatbox”

“We order lamb legs and bacon. Both of these had amazing taste and flavour. The packaging was secure, no leakages and kept the meat at a cold temperature. Well worth the price and will buy again.”
