“Ordered three 8oz dry aged fillet steak on a Thursday, delivered on Friday, on Saturday I seasoned and sealed the steak before grilling to medium as this is how we like it. I am an 80 year old who has had a great number of steaks during my lifetime, but I have to say as far as I can recollect these are the finest steaks that I have eaten. Needless to say I will be having them again, as and when we can afford them. Well worth the money.”

“Top quality chicken! I mainly been using it to make my chicken salads. You literally are what what you eat. I can taste the quality difference to chicken brought from supermarkets. Worth it!”

“Our delivery which should have arrived on a Friday was delayed by the courier until Monday and returned unopened to Meatbox. To their credit, as soon as they became aware of the delay, apologised and without question offered either a refund or replacement. We opted for the latter which was delivered the following morning. To date we have used only the free-range chicken which I must say is one of the most tender and flavoursome I have eaten. I can thoroughly recommend Meatbox to potential customers.”

“Ordered a box on 10 Dec as a Christmas present and requested delivery for 22 Dec. It turns out that the track my order function isn’t possible and when my order didn’t arrive on time I contacted their customer service team, who told me that Royal Mail were very busy and it should arrive in the next day or so. Spoiler alert- it didn’t and didn’t arrive in time for Christmas. I emailed customer services to let them know it hadn’t arrived and express my disappointment and didn’t receive a response. I emailed again a few days later to ask for an update as to where my order was and received an out of office email, stating they were back on 5 Jan. By the 6 Jan I still had not received any communication so I rang Meatbox. I wasn’t offered any apology and was told that they would send a new order out straight away. This has now arrived, but I’m still awaiting the apology or an offer of a refund of postage….maybe I was unlucky, but not sure I’d trust them with my business again, especially not if it’s a gift!”

“The meat we ordered was very good quality and was well packaged. We ordered a dry-aged rib of beef and some of the pigs in blankets. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is that it arrived a day late. This wasn't so much of an issue in real terms, but I had called the company the day before dispatch and was assured it would be sent the following day and delivered on the day I selected.”
