Technically, we set our shelf life with about six months of safety reserve, so if the serum was opened before the end of the stated date and used for some weeks afterwards, its quality and safety should not be affected. That said, this sounds like it may have been one of the last vials of a previous batch at the end of the year, and we should absolutely have pointed the short remaining shelf life out to you at the time of purchase. I apologise sincerely that we didn’t do this and that it has made you feel let down.
We now have a fresh batch of this serum in stock and will be very happy to replace your vial if you wish. Please contact our customer care team so we can arrange a replacement, hope it helps.
