Have been a Mercedes Benz leasing client for over 25 years. In the final 3 months found the seat belt failed. The garage replaced, told a call back issue. Only no call back! When asked why not informed told DVLA issue? Not moved! Have requested proof of what steps taken to call back...to date told: * Not really placed my life at risk!....I thought against the law, unfit to drive, voids insurance??? * Can I prove was a call back...did then the word salad email. * Investigation done, MB not at fault....guess customers should be physic on issues and deal with them. If call back, they need to let you know in order to address. Wander how many people out there driving leased cars with no idea of seat belt needs to be replaced. Had also attempted to highlight issue to senior management who ignored. WHY is MB not a company that cares about safety show us your money is their mantra? How does one stop going round in circles and get them to admit that the policy for call back has holes in it, with out all the fudge? If you write to a executive they usually respond apologies and resolve, why not at MB?
