“This is the second similar box I have purchased from MBD and this one has a number of minor detailed improvements. It's very well constructed and the door seals tightly. A shame it is no longer supplied with a back board. The included accessory pack is let down by the plastic key being the wrong type for the latches and the fixing bolts being too short for any reasonable thickness of back board. I had to replace key and bolts at extra cost in addition to buying a back board.”

“Took the maximum time from order to delivery, arrived the last thing on day three so couldn't fit till the following day. Goods were as described, but I'd advise giving yourself extra time for delivery.”

“Easy to assemble although more instructions in English would have been useful, the steel dowels are not shown on the instruction drawing ( if they are its not clear ) and why four dowels , I was only able to find a location for the two larger ones”

“Would have been a 5 Star but the measurement on the website is not right. The hinge is not 85mm”

“As there seems to be a very wide variety of sizes of metrebox door, this one was the closest I could find. The door arrived well packaged and in the time indicated (if not actually earlier). As I expected the door required some minor "fettling" to get it to fit the existing box. Otherwise, very happy.”

“Mk1 Gas meter box delivered promptly, there was an issue with installing the box. MDB more than happy to assist with sorting issue. The issue was the gas pipe earth lead which had been badly installed by the gas meter supplier which prevented the box fitting correctly.”

“replacement box for gas meter. delivered promptly - no screws included but minor irritation. Back plate ready for gas fitter to fix - couldn't be done as a homer but if replacing front box easy to do it”
