“My daughter has just moved into a house where the door of the external gas meter cupboard was basically trashed - no lock and one of the hinges gone. Measured the aperture carefully, went on the MBD site, and easily found that it was a Mark 1 UK Box, so I ordered the new door. It arrived amazingly quickly (ordered on Sunday, arrived Tuesday), with the bonus of the two hinges and lock already fitted and the key taped safely inside. It honestly took me more time to unpack it than the 10 seconds it took me to fit it. If only everything in life were so simple. Thanks MBD!!”

“Watched a YouTube directive on repairing a meter box door. Excellent. Ordered the parts and,fixed the door no problem. All parts as described arrived really quickly at a very reasonable price. Thought a replacement box was going to cost over £200 so to repair and do it myself was fantastic. Highly recommend.”
