The parts work great, I was a little disappointed that the strap broke so soon. The remote connected effortlessly.

The only thing I don't like so far is that the distance from the base where you put the bottom of my golf bag (lower strap) is slightly too far from the upper straps. The top of my golf bag, what I thought was a regulation size (Callaway) golf bag, hits just below the upper straps and brackets. So, to fix that problem, I have to put a folded up towel on the lower base to raise the golf bag. That didn't happen with my last cart (a Bag Boy navigator elite). Other than that, when you turn the cart as its rolling, I'd rather it not slow down when making the turn. That's minor but a preference.

The remote wasn't any good for my buggy but the people at mgi put me on the correct path with a remote battery

The Zip X5 is perfect! I have played several rounds on very hilly courses and it is easy to handle and has no problem handling the hilly terrain at all. The battery has plenty of power for the entire round. It is lightweight enough for me to easily get it in and out of my car. I did not want a remote, I wanted a model I could walk with. The controls are easy to adjust as I am walking. I highly recommend this model.

I had a very bad service experience with MGI. The latch of one of the rear wheels got stuck and It was not possible to remove the wheel. I could not find a technical adviser for days. Finally, I talked to a manager who indicated I should use a gear puller. I had to buy one and I finally removed the wheel. I had to order a replacement as the wheel got damaged when using the tool. The new wheel does not fit well on the axe. I had to hammer it in, which makes future lubrication impossible. Bad wheel design and bad service.

Remote works fine. Easy to pair. Overall, service was good..but warranty policy should be reviewed. I bought a new machine..in the box..never used.. and warranty on remote was rejected. Should have the opportunity to review and offer exception to policy. Then, shipping was $17.00 on a remote battery that cost $25. The battery can be replaced for as little as a couple of dollars on the independent battery market. I believe MGI should offer replacement at cost..and really examine the shipping method. Might even be wise to not offer the battery..but offer the info as to how to get one independently. All that being said, I did have good exchanges verbally or written with representatives and I don't see them as part of the problem. They seemed to be as helpful as they could be. Also, no questions about it. The MGI Zip Navigator is a terrific machine. Very rugged..very responsive..and I would definitely buy again. Actually, when this one needs replacing...it's my intention to buy the AT model..as the course I play is mountainous.

Excellent service from MGI, as always. Great company. Seems strange to me, however, that a battery has a two year warranty but the battery charger only has a one year warranty. My charger stopped working after 23 months without any damage being done to it.
