“It worked as a linking-communication vehicle, but as a user I need more certainty/ means of assessing potential sitters, and reason for those people to stick to their word!
Suggest you need a rating / review system (like AirB&B etc) so users develop and protect a reputation by good behaviour and reliability in communications…
That would take out most of the stress of potential false promises / unmet expectations, etc!

1. App Availability: We do have an app for both sitters and homeowners. Details about the app are included in the information email sent when an ad is submitted, and the app is also highlighted during registration.
2. Search Filters: Our platform includes an "Advanced Search" tab in the search panel for sitters, allowing you to narrow down results by region and dates. However, the most efficient way to connect with available sitters is by posting your ad. This notifies all suitable sitters in your area, ensuring you receive applications only from those available for your dates and familiar with your pet’s needs.
3. Messaging System: The messaging system is intentionally designed to operate through our website. This ensures that profiles and reviews are easily accessible and that important steps, like notifying applicants of your selection, are completed seamlessly within the platform.
4. Dog Breed Information: While we currently encourage sitters and homeowners to share pet details in their profiles and ads, making specific breed information mandatory is something we’ll consider as we continually refine our platform.

“The site was effective but had a policy that all replies must be answered promptly. I wasn't always able to do this because of a busy period, and was told it may impact my rating. I received dozens of replies within a couple of days and the workload was too high to respond quickly enough to meet the desired reply timeline that Mindahome mentions.
I did receive many good responses though and found an excellent house sitter.”
“I find your website not as user friendly as others and whilst I may not be as IT savvy as some, others users have told me the same.
Even when an instruction is given sometimes, like accept house sit, the system wont accept. Fortunatly by that stage you have owners contact details so we can accept via mobile to each other.
Under "view" your profile, it only shows me how I have entered my profile and not how its seen by home owners. I can not view whether my reviews are visual to owners. There seems a lot of glinches in this system.
I have only had 2 house sits through this website and I can only presume its that other websites are a lot more user friendly hence more clients / jobs available.
At this stage I wouldnt renew my membership but I hope this can change.”
