NEVER HEARD OF THIS PLACE UNTIL I GET CHARGES ON MY CREDIT CARD. NEVER ORDERED FROM THEM. IT IS A SCAM BUSINESS. HAD TO CONTACT FRAUD DEPARTMENT.

DO NOT USE WENT O LINE TO CANCEL AND ALL YOU CAN DO IS CANCEL UPCOMING ORDERS I NEVER AGREED TO ANYTHING IN FACT MULTIPLE ITEMS ARE BEING SENT I DIDNT APPROVE I NEVER RECEIVED A THING IN NO WAY WOULD I ORDER OVER 80 BUX WORTH OF 20 DIFFERENT VEGETABLES YES......I AM YELLING!!!!

Very deceitful practices, impossible to cancel account and remove credit card on website. Customer service is a joke, please take it from me DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Maybe I just had a bad experience, or maybe my experience is similar to others. Like others, i fell victim to seeing an ad and wanting to see what this store had to offer. Of course you have to enter your information just to browse the store, so i did. Though, i was already skeptical so i put my cash app card that has no money on it. Two days later at 3 am, i received a notification that a payment was declined. i went to bed, and then at 11am i received another notification that a payment was declined. I decided to go into the website, and deleted my card information, and also switched my plan to a plan where i would NOT be charged unless i actually ordered it, and confirmed it. An hour later i received a notification via cashapp that my expiration date was entered incorrectly on Misfits Market. Following that notification, was yet ANOTHER declined purchase. I went ahead and canceled my card. After contacting support, they basically just offered for me to cancel my entire account and totally avoided the fact that it seems like someone was entering my card information. Was my cashapp just acting wonky? there’s a very very slight possibility. This business seems very fishy, and i would stay far far away from this company.

If you don't order often enough for their liking, they will try underhanded tactics to stick you with what they choose for you. Today I got notice that my order had been placed after my shopping window only opened yesterday and I'm supposed to have until Monday to shop or skip. It looks like after opening my window, they changed my delivery day to Monday so that I only had HOURS to shop or cancel or be stuck with the sh*tty odds and ends they choose. They did NOT NOTIFY ME OF THIS. Now I'm trying to get this sneaky, illegal order canceled. Incredibly dishonest customer service trying to force orders through.

Looks like I have the same situation as many others on here. I just wanted to look at what they had to offer so I put in my info but never placed an order. I honestly forgot about it until I found a box on my porch addressed to me. Canceling is a nightmare and they don't just let you remove your card without putting in another card. Stay far, far away from this company.

Last year the produce I ordered was decent. The last two orders were poor. The grapefruits looked like oranges with such thick skin that they were inedible. Today’s order contained two rotten peppers. Not sure what is going on with their quality control. No excuse.

It’s only a one star because zero stars is not an option. They ignored my customizations so 12 of the 14 items I received were things I’ll never use. They also ignored my emails and messages when I reported the issue. Don’t do business with these people

Terrible customer service! I simply wanted to log in and change my order status, but needed to reset my password. Never got an email allowing me to reset my password despite multiple emails back and forth with customer care. I don't need three emails telling me how to clear my cache, sign in from this browser, maybe change your whole email address (really!)...It just shouldn't be that hard to reset a password. If you can tell me three times how to reset my password and it STILL doesn't work, then surely someone on the customer service end can just me the reset code? Ended up canceling my credit card. Just smells like a scam. Don't bother.

Shoulda read reviews before I used this company. Shipping issues that ruined produce and incorrect:missing items on my first order. Too expensive for how poor quality this place provides. Major bummer since it seems like a great idea.

Their shipping policies literally destroyed my last 3 grocery orders. One spilled oil all over everything because the shipper threw the box over my gate. It is THEIR choice of shipping carrier that caused this, and they are lousy at customer service. They will refund you for cheap destroyed items but not the expensive stuff. they are a pathetic excuse for a grocery store. DO NOT use them.

Only giving one star because 0 is not an option. After cancelling my subscription, I was charged. Emailed in for help, they told me they closed my account and canceled the subscription. They lied. I was charged again for another box the following month. I haven’t even received either box, I don’t know where it was shipped, but it wasn’t to me. Dishonest, greedy practices here.

Initially I was a big fan of Misfits Market when I started using them around 2020 or 2021. Their produce was somewhat comparable to store prices and you could get some really neat deals on random pantry items. I was also really about their mission with sending you 'slightly imperfect' produce that was still perfectly good. In transparency, I see a lot of complaints on here are about the regular recurring subscription box - I did not opt for that, just the option to shop as needed with the weekly window, where sometimes I'd build a box, and sometimes I wouldn't. Sadly over just my few years as a customer I've seen the prices skyrocket. I get that inflation is a thing, but for example - there was this croissant bread that is THE BOMB which I loved, and initially it was on sale for around $4.00 the first time I tried it. Now the price has steadily increased and it's on their site for $8.69, which isn't even a savings. I really would love to still support reducing food waste and buying my produce in a box that reduces single-use plastic, but I can't justify using them anymore. Their prices plus the shipping costs mean that you do NOT save money compared to the grocery store, which is supposed to be the whole premise. I think they started trying to take on too much when they expanded to having way more pantry items, cold pack, etc. When it was mostly produce and random items at deep discount, it was more fun to shop because it was like a 'treasure hunt' and you didn't know what you'd find at, say, 60% off. Too many things at too high of prices make the site overwhelming to shop - kind of like they are trying to be Thrive Market but not as good. (I shop with Thrive periodically too but only when there are really good deals and I have a free student membership). My experiences with customer service have always been satisfactory. I've been very frustrated a few times where items were missed, items were damaged (shattered glass of olives, leaking bag of chicken), and they refund you without batting an eye if you just contact them. The most frustrating thing that has ever happened is one of my boxes got totally lost and no one knew where it was. These things happen and probably most if not all of them are the shipping provider's fault and not Misfits.

So far I have not been able to contact a human and I have only been receiving automated emails. I am out $69.00 for groceries I DID NOT order. I sent in the customer service form immediately after discovering that I was under the wrong plan. I contacted them before anything shipped, most of which I don't eat. Always be careful of any website that starts with a warning that they are so busy. Obviously too busy for any substantial customer service with real people on stand by to cancel orders. I will not try them again and I will NOT recommend them to anyone!

Signed up never ordered anything Credit card was charged twice 1st transaction was reversed by visa 2 Mf transaction went thru for nearly $100 I tried to call them and their # has been disconnected. Had to dispute the charged and get a new card. Total scam

You took a good thing- Imperfect Foods - and destroyed it. My service went downhill. My selection went downhill. All hail to the abomination that is corporate mergers and money and no care as to a good product.

I have been using Misfits Markets since 2020. I have seen a lot of improvement in the freshness of the delivery's. My food is always perfect and fresh now. But what is the most impressive is if you have a problem you can email them and they will actually fix that problem. My eggs were getting broken during delivery so they got a special bubble wrap to fix it. They are a wonderful company that meet much of our food needs.

I wish I would have done my due diligence and read these reviews first!! Same thing happened to me. I just wanted to see what they had to offer and pricing. As soon as I saw the pricing and product options, I canceled my “subscription”, literally within minutes, this was on 08/29, received email Saying my subscription was canceled, yet I got an email today (09/05) stating my order was shipping. WTH! I immediately forwarded their cancellation confirmation email asking why it wasn’t cancelled. They said order was processed 00/04 and I canceled 09/05! I have my original email showing I cancelled 08/29!! What a bunch of dishonest, shady people!

You can't get a hold of them at all! All I did was inquire about signing up and next thing I know, I have a box coming! I never agreed or signed up for anything, they just took it upon themselves to start shipping and billing. "DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION "This is plain wrong this should be a crime and they need a class action lawsuit!! Don't even think about even clicking on their site!!! This is bad!! I can't even log in to their website!!!
