I signed up but was unable to sign into my account after creating it. After 2 weeks of back and forth with customer service and trying multiple suggestions the issue was not resolved. I was offered the opportunity to set up a new account but needed to have another email address. Overall somewhat ridiculous issue and not worth the hassle.

I enrolled in Misfits before seeing these reviews! Honestly, I got a little nervous. BUT, I just got my delivery and it's awesome! Everything is in good shape, and I received everything ordered. I want to put it out to anyone questioning signing up: give it a try. So far so good for me (albeit one delivery) but I'm so happy to help reduce food waste and to support organic farmers. :)

I was supposed to receive my delivery every other Friday. Out of all my orders, not a single one of them arrived on Friday. All arrived on Thursday. More often than not, when I ordered additional mushrooms (beyond the regular box) at least one of the three boxes ordered was missing. When I wrote about those two issues, I was given a $27.50 credit. My next order "used" that credit and contained an additional $20.42 in produce. The only way I knew the order had been cancelled (by Misfits) was because of the refund to my bank account of $20.42. After writing to find out why my ordered was cancelled (not by me) I received two different responses; the first response indicated a weather problem (my delivery on Friday (yesterday) should have been fine since the roads had been cleared for a few days at that point and, frankly, the snow turned to rain anyway) and the second response indicated it was a "production" issue. So, which was it? And, why wasn't I notified of the cancellation before it happened? Not worth the time, money, or frustration. There are other organic options out there; Farm Box Direct comes to mind.

I’m over the moon with this service. Fresh, organic, and at a discount, what’s not to love? And it comes directly to my door. Customer service is fantastic. No membership fees. I get the small box for myself and it is plenty for a weeks worth of meals. Plus, by shopping in this way I’m eliminating waste of good food, saving time, and keeping myself safe by staying at home? I highly recommend Misfits Market!

So disappointed,,,,.after seeing photos of the produce my daughter received in NY....I ordered sweet potatoes and got two tiny,tiny red potatoes Mixed lettuce ...not mixed and the roots still attached. I am not sure if I will give it another try.

Don't waste your money!!! I ordered the $35 box and what a joke. Not much in the box (2 apples, 3 oranges, 3 tiny potatoes, etc). I chalked it up to it being my first time and was willing to give it another shot...and then the majority of the produce was bad by Monday (the box arrived Friday afternoon). I contacted customer service and cancelled the service. I learned my lesson.

My box was missing a few items, company never answered email to let me know if they would send them or refund. Poor communication. Prices are about equal to normal produce from the store. I wanted to like this company but they need to pull it together and attend to customers and give value.

You would have received an email notification of that refund as well. We consistently compare our pack lists—that is, the actual items delivered in any given Misfits box—to the same organic items offered at national grocery store chains, both discount and specialty, as well as online grocery delivery services. We have found the average savings across all types of stores to be up to 40%. It seems like they paid pennies on the dollar for food from the island of misfit produce, then charged more than you would pay for perfect produce. This a scam.

New customer and they didn’t deliver on time, and pushed 1 day and then my order never arrived. I contacted customer service and their only method for contact is email, no phone #. Still haven’t heard from anyone. They have my money and I have no food.

Worst customer service. Worst subscription box ever! Damaged and moldy fruit. Can’t get a phone number to contact them. Box was a day late. Missing four items we requested that they said was available! Last box stuff was missing as well!

I have been very happy with the shipments and am getting ready to make my order today. I love the variety of vegetables and enjoy looking up recipes to make a variety of dishes. I have received at least 5 boxes. I also like the fact that I do not have to leave my house!!!!!

My first box arrived and right off the bat I was disappointed in the amount that arrived. The price for a large box is quite a bit and I can buy more very nice produce at the local grocery store for much less than what I was charged. Also not one thing that arrived was quality. My apples were old and bruised, the russet potatoes were the size of golf balls and the limes were on their last leg. I had added one add on and they had placed it at the bottom of the box and then all of the produce on top of it. It was smashed to pieces. Will never go there again and when you contact customer service they can offer you 25% off your next order for your spoiled goods. Why would I make another order??? Poor customer service but even more poor quality product. Huge thumbs down. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The core measurements of our boxes are the number of people a box feeds per week and the value/savings you can expect compared to grocery store prices. E.g., when there are less squash and potatoes but more greens, a box may be a little lighter in weight but will sacrifice nothing in terms of value. We also consistently compare our pack lists—that is, the actual items delivered in any given Misfits box—to the same organic items offered at national grocery store chains, both discount and specialty, as well as online grocery delivery services. We have found the average savings across all types of stores to be up to 40%. That said, our Customer Success team would like to take a closer look at this for you. My postage scale only goes to 3lb. It JUST barely exceeds the 3 lb scale and doesn't register on the bathroom scale. It's $30 for a less than 5 lb box, including the box and all the packaging. That's at a minimum $6/lb for "discount" produce you are supposedly rescuing from a landfill. Oh and you don't get to pick. Are you kidding me? Prime, expensive produce items go for around $3/lb retail. I should be getting a box of steak for this price. They market this as discount produce but never actually tell you how much you will get. The box says 15lbs but that is a flat shipping weight based on the size. I guess some people just don't notice. This is literally fraud, theft by deception.

While I was customizing my box for my future order, there's an error where they have you check out the foods you want but most of their items are sold out. I tried emailing them of this issue but they gave me a sugar coated solution which led to know where. Save your time and money, Folks!

It’s okay to have bad experience sometimes The problem is how you handle it, There is no phone number listed for you guys as a customer service You take 48 hours to reply for a box that did not arrived And your delivery people are very very rude Some of the products are good some are OK and some are bad But the service I would not recommend to anyone I know anymore

I got my first box I was so excited but when my daughter cut the mango 🥭 rotten and the Zucchini / cucumber was the same so disappointed is supposed to be fresh not rotten 😞

Just got my very first box. Was so excited. Only positive: it came on schedule! There's only 4 things from my large box order I ordered in there. The rest is food we do not eat. I also added 4 add-ons and only ONE was in the box. They did however have no problem charging my card for my full order with hardly anything I ordered in it! Customer service has no phone #. Had to send an email. No response yet.

Placed two orders to give them a try. The first order I received some of the things I had placed on my list. The second order I received had almost nothing I ordered and some were inedible. I understand the idea of using “misfit” produce, but when you receive vegetables that are rotten, what’s the point? I paid good money for nothing! Don’t waste your money!!
